Arrived late and left very early but this motel met all my needs perfectly - comfortable bed, quiet location, free shuttle bus to airport that arrived on time, and cheaper than many of the others. Would stay again to catch an early morning flight. -

The lovely friendly staff, who bent over backwards to assure our needs were met. We solo appreciated hiring the spa bath room for the evening at a special rate, that just made our stay given we were confined to our room, it was so cold out. Big thanks to reception, Louise??? Spacious and comfortable room. Luckily got corner spa room with courtyard. Went for a concert and very convenient location. Will stay here again. Breakfast staff and reception staff were very friendly. Quiet and peaceful in the city... fantastic!!

Room was good size and bathroom nice and clean. It was quiet and handy to where we wanted to go. Magazines to read were a nice touch. Breakfasts were well priced. Staff very friendly and helpful, even leant us an umbrella when it was raining. -

Reasonably priced, the villa was better than a motel room as it had a kitchen and a separate bedroom. The staff were amazing and the place was walking distance to a mall. A few minutes drive to Westfield mall, close to the airport, not that far from cbd by bus.
I would recommend colonial village to everyone.

This was a great place to stay right at the Yacht Club as I was visiting cousins who lived nearby. The Motel is new, clean and comfortable and offers an excellent Continental breakfast at additional cost of $12. -

Once we got to the hotel, we were upgraded to the penthouse apartment for no extra costs and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us staying. The staff were helpful. We didn't use the free bike hire service in the end, but it was good to know they had it if needed.
The ferry -
Location was great. Easy access to CityCat and free Hop On Hop Off Ferry. Walkable to Southbank with many restaurants, cultural venues, great promenade, park like environment and the lovely man-made lagoon. Would go back to Brisbane in a heart beat.
A bit of a mix-up with our reservation. They had us down for the night after we had reserved. Brigitte at front desk was great and found a room for us with 2 beds (which was what we had requested). Not too sure what happened with that!

The room was large, well equipped and very clean. We had one of the top floors on the side so the ceiling was very high....made the room feel very spacious.

There is a mini kitchenette and tools which are sufficient to cook a meal. The hotel staff was also friendly and he allowed us to place our baggages at a safe room while roaming about in the city prior to leaving for the airport. The hotel also has a phone to dial for the taxi which is very convenient for travellers who does not have a cellphone to book a taxi.

The location was excellent. Easy walk to ferry and not far from city. Access using a car was very easy and very easy to get to the airport from there.
The double glazing worked very well and kept the noise from the busy road out front to a very low level, we slept well! -
