Friendly staff, the place is located basically on the beach. Room was clean, maids came every day. Beach towels available. There is a nice relaxing space on the porch in front of the bungalow, where you can hang around. I had 2 double beds in my bungalow, so basically you can accommodate 4 people in there. There is a nice budget SPA on the beach next to the place from the left. If you need AirCon, it's probably the best value on the beach. If no, you may find something like this twice cheaper.
all reviews » We booked it last minute and did not what to expect but it was the perfect choice! The hotel is literally on the beach, surrounded by a lovely garden for shade. There are sun shairs available at no charge and the restaurant serves good value meals (especially the barbecue was good). We also had a meal at the Maya retaurant right next door, which was delicious. Very very good place for value, and great staff. We stayed in the bungalow of Lien Huep Thanh hotel and were happy with our choice. What we liked: beautiful nature, private beach, delicious food in the hotel's restaurant for very reasonable price (compared to other hotels in the neighbourhood), romantic evening meals with special atmosphere and cosiness, helpful staff, offers of bike rent and organised tours to explore the island. We stayed in Lien Hiep Thranh from 20 till 25 november. We enjoyed everything, the location is super, the bungalows are spacious, the food is good and the staff is super friendly.. At night they turn the beach in to a cosy restaurant with a lovely fish BBQ. It all looks very romantic. We will come back to this resort. Marius and Yuri. The family who runs the place is amazing. So friendly! Room with air condition is a must because we heard that with the fan, you couldn't sleep after 7am.. Basic rooms with mosquito net even with air condition. Beach is very clean and bbq in the evening is really nice. The family's dogs are nice aswell. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Loction is perfect, right on the beach. Great price, great location on the beach, this is a small (20 rooms), family-run hotel which is great for a few days in Phu Quoc. The restaurant is also pretty good (try the curry!). Location is really great - not too close, but also not too far from the center - you can walk to the center (with beautiful nightmarket) in about 25 mins. Free towels for the beach. No insects protection on the widows (just the mosquito nets above the beds). So if you like some fresh air, be prepared to have some visitors. The food in the restaurant is probably not the best on the beach. But Rory's beach bar (literally 10 steps to the right) offers better sandwiches and nice pizzas. A very minor thing, but would be great if the hotel designated an area for parking scooters. We had three lined up right in front of our door, which was not a big deal, but still a bit annoying to have to leap over those every time to get in the room. Dont leave your shoes outsite at night, the dogs love to "play" with them!!!. Few rats running near the fence in the evening, because the biowaste is dumped over the fence. To see the town where is night market you need rent a bike coz its far far away (but you need the bike anyway if you want to explore the island). Sometimes no electricity but who cares while you are on the beach. Be aware that there is currently construction right next door (as well as a little bit in the hotel too). This did not affect us, but could be a risk if you are staying there before the busy season starting november. After taking a shower the bathroom was flooded and the water didn't go away. WIFI didn't work on one of three days. Jellyfishes in the water. Breakfast wasn't included but the breakfast at the restaurant was good value. access to the place require improvement for pavement, lighting (so dark at night) and more sign in the main road. It's in the middle of the jungle and being arachnophobic I had couple of issues to sleep with my beloved friends with their 8 legs. Cockroaches, bats,... are also everywhere on this paradise island but it's definitely worth it!!!. Some rooms are close to a noisy bar unfortunately. Once wifi was disrupted but it worked perfectly otherwise. Room was dark and lots of mossies! As already mentioned - ac option would be best as fan was only a pedestal fan and room was hot. Rock hard pillows! Rory's bar one property away blared club music until 1-2am every night, totally ruins the spot. Pack earplugs. New viet place next door was being built and tested its karaoke facilities. Wifi in the resort is bad: most of the time it is disconnected. My rooms needed a makeover. No TV in the room. Hot water for shower comes from the mainland, it seems. And dogs in a restaurant: very bad idea. Maybe only rate as 2 star resort. - loud music next door - room was very basic considering the relatively high price - staff packed up the tables and chairs and turned off the lights at 9.30pm even when people were sat drinking - food was not good and portions were very small. They triple their prices in "high season" which is silly as the entire island was almost empty. I ended up moving to a cheaper room. Laget pa var bungalow var mork och myggig. Maten var inte spec. bra. Personalen var inte spec. trevlig.
