The staff were friendly and very helpful. Especially like the breakfast menu provided everyday. The location is perhaps the best of it all where the hotel is centrally located and many historical places and shopping mall are within walking distance. Great location in the heart of district 1. Big room with a balcony with a good view over the city. Nice and clean. The bell boys were excellent and friendly.

The reception staff were most uncooperative and did not have enough understanding of the english language as would be expected at an international 4 star Hotel. The Hotel in my opinion is over priced and overrated. We had our rooms supposedly upgraded on the return trip however we lost the balcony and the view to gain only a slightly larger room. Will not stay again. Eating in the hotel is extremly expensive (3usd for a coke in their lobby restaurante). Room is small, the bed is so hard and uncomfortable your body is restless after sleeping. After the First night I had to call three times requesting them to Make the Room. The reception Staff were not up to standard for a 4 Star Hotel. the reception staff didnt want to understand much and they seemed totally indifferent to our needs not what you would expect at a good hotel. Noisy. Please think twice if you want to choose this hotel during the TET (Chinese New Year). The street party starts early in the morning and ends late in the night. Room whitout window. The mattress was painful and I had to request a different one. It was so hard I work up with bad back pain with red marks on my back where the springs and hard wire stuck into me. no English news!!!!!!lots of cable but no good choices for English speaking tourists.. poor lobby facilities..only few couches, no relaxation area, tv, only BANK!!!!! coffee restauant too expensive not good food...went only once...all restaurant prices too high.. rooms ok but small..not worth the money... They showed me two unacceptable rooms before I got one that was halfway decent. Said it was because I had used letsbookhotel.com. Stayed two days and moved on. Got better room for half the price. Lobby had a nasty smell, I think sewer gasses?. Cleanliness, my coffee cups was dirty, the bed sheet had hairs. the front desks clerks were not smile, the hallway carpets was old and dirty. your staff need to be train to have always a positive image. Booking Problems they double charged me. Still no refund. No Iron or Ironing board in room I went to reception and they said they could iron my clothes but there would be a charge and they said they don't have irons yet in this hotel and I said what all hotels have a iron to use but no irons not happy as I had a business meeting in 40 minutes. Room was average for a four star hotel. This probably used to be a very good hotel, back in the days. But it didn't evolve into an international hotel. It's old fashioned, the safe is not big enough for your laptop, the breakfast is very local (they didn't even have orange juice) and the staff is not very good in English. The dated interior, this hotel feels like you are in 1990. Also the gym had a treadmill that has a large tear in it which makes it unusable. poor, almost non-existant "free wifi" that was so proudly claimed by the hotel. no option of borrowing the ironing board and iron. you would have to pay for housekeeping to iron your clothes for you. limited choices of english channels on tv. over-charged for mini-bar usage.
