This hotel is as good or better than any of the larger chains such as -Days Inn, Super 8, Holiday Inn Express, La Quinta etc, which I stayed in during a 3 week trip around Texas, and it offered the best value of all. It is super clean, very comfortable and welcoming. My kitchenette room had all the facilities I needed, including full sized fridge and freezer, 2-ring halogen hob cooker, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The TV had plenty of channels to choose from, and there was good free wif.
all reviews » We travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels. This one was one of the best. The room was extremely clean and did not smell like room freshener. The king, non-smoking, room was spacious. It included a kitchenette. We were pleased with our 2 day stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel sits back from the road and may be overlooked. If you like clean, spacious, quiet rooms, very reasonably priced,stay here. We ask for a quiet area & Neeta made sure we got that, thank you. Our room was great..big, clean with a refrigerator, cooktop & microwave. Great for families that want to be self sufficient for meals & cook. It was convenient to the Larrys Flea Market is why we went to Winnie. They are pet friendly as we just got a puppy & crated her. Enjoyed our stay, which there was more to see in Winnie!. The hotel was very comfortable and my room was enjoyable with the added addition of a kitchenette. The staff was very friendly during my whole stay and went out their way to make me feel welcome from check in to check out. I would highly recommend the Home Suites Winnie!. Enjoyed my stay. Very clean and obviously recently upgraded facility S. Very good value for area. No hassle check in and out. The efficiency kitchen was perfect for us. Good value. Nothing!. No juice at breakfast. The ice machine didnt work nor the coke machine. We were able to get ice at the front desk so no problem. The continental breakfast was far less than normal. Juice & cream cheese pastries, nothing more. The only issue whatsoever was that the toilet was slow to refill between flushes. The driveway was not clearly marked; however, you could see the hotel from the road so we used a neighboring businesses driveway to get to it. It needed a small sign marking the driveway. We arrived from the north and the hotel was on our left as we drove toward Winnie. There were no dislikes. just the parking getting in and out. One thing I think should be addressed is that the left side of the bed has no side table or shelf to put a drink or anything else on. Very inconvenient. A cupcake and an apple was advertized as breakfast. Breakfast was only stale danishes and coffee, room door did not lock at all, problem with getting fresh towels. By FAR ws NOT treated as a valued customer!.
