The Beau Rivage is your basic shore-side family-oriented motel. While it does show its age a bit, the place is clean and well-kept. Discount comments to the contrary, because our standards are pretty high. The kichenette was actually superior to what you get at higher priced places, and parking is ample. As has been remarked elsewhere, the staff is friendly and helpful. Some of the staff was excellent, giving restaurant ideas, help with wifi......suite was great for 2 people.....coffee shop was wonderful for breakfast and friendliness. People we met were from all different countries and states.
all reviews » The facility was clean and comfortable. It is beachside and all the rooms have an ocean view . Convenient parking, etc. Clean beaches. Less than 2 miles from the Wildwood boardwalk. I'd go back. good room size, actually a suite with separate living/dining rm and efficiency kitchen, good for family, newer bathroom. Good location close to Cape May, and quieter than boardwalk area. The staff were freindly and helpful, the rooms and establishement was clean, on the beach, pool,breakfast and lunch on site, not far from nightlife. Liked everything, great value. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Location to beach was perfect! Room was clean as well as pool area. My husband and I were pleased with the service and attitude of the employees. We were planning to spend most of the weekend in Cape May so it was a great location. right on the beach, lots of parking for your car, room was big, beds not comfortable, overall was very good. room was a nice size, parking was fine. Location. I liked the location and the full kitchen. Close to beach. The $10 room key charge (which was returned on departure) struck me as a tad silly. Common practice seems to be to charge you if you lose the darn thing!. Wish they would do something about those lumpy beds. All rooms presented as ocean view which is true, but most rooms you need to step outside to see the ocean. Not a thing!. we enjoyed everything. Would like a king bed. a little to far from the boardwalk. suggestions; cleaner/crisper, ex. elevator, don't charge for ice, have deal/package for repeat patrons. They do not give refunds if u need to cancell booking. All was good but it is old. Other than that no complaints. The couch..It was not comfortable. Their wi-fi does not work. No late check out offered. Had to be out by 11am the following day. If u want to be close to the boardwalk, this is not the place to stay, pool area small, very noisy from the pool motors running all the time. mattress was horrible, bathroom fixtures need replaced and updated. Cheap. I didn't like the fact that the rooms were very poor, not clean, everything old, the mattresses were terrible. I also was shocked by charging me extra for the fifth person what doesn't happen in other nearby motels. No heating,very noisy.
