The inn is an outstanding value for the money. The innkeepers and their staff clearly work very hard to keep the place clean and cater to the needs of their guests. I also like the fact that the rooms are cozy and the atmosphere inviting and relaxing as well. If you are tired of sterile, McMansion hotels staffed by underpaid folks who don't make eye contact with guests, you will love this place - it is truly an original. all reviews »
Its location is easy to find, not in the town centre but not far away.
Staffs (owners) are very friendly and helpful. They provide delicious breakfast in a beautiful dining room. They try to find Vermont Road Map as I request for free instead of buying it outside in the city.
It's was the best for value of money in my 2 weeks trip.
Simon is friendly and knowledgeable and cooks a good breakfast.
The atmosphere, good sized room, nice breakfast, great location.
It was not an issue for our active family, but some guests might not like the small size of the shower stalls.
There is no elevator. Don't bring large luggage to the room for your short stay.
Wi-fi not available downstairs and spotty reception upstairs.
