I got a great deal booking the hotel on line, the staff was very nice, I traveled from Nashville, Tn to Waldorf on a bus and ended up getting to the hotel 4 hours before check in , there was a really nice woman at the front desk that promptly got a room ready for me so I would not have to sit the lobby, not to mention I had a pretty view and a overall pleasant stay. It was a better experience than I thought considering the number of negative reviews. My room was clean, had flat screen TV, mini-fridge and microwave. I definitely would stay here again.
all reviews » The Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Friendly staff, quick staff, great rate. The night manager (Larry) went out of his way to provide the best service possible as my reservation did not arrive from a travel site but he helped to get all of that taken care of. Nice size room, comfy bed, nice to have a refridgetor and microwave in the room. Nice size flat screen tv. The room was clean and the staff was nice. Thoufh it's definitely a no-frills place, everything worked. The cleaniness of the room. location. Nothing. Good staff Had all amenities such a laundry, ice and hot water. Cable Clean (apart from the cockroaches I found) Near to DC. friendly staff. Location. Helps me with my travel TV show on where not to stay and my research on budget hotels in the DC area. The snow! Lol but there was nothing about the hotel that I did not like. nothing. We had a bug in our no bath mat or extra towels, we opened the door to the room and walked into a chair. The price change. no staff to clean room no towels 2nd night. WiFi did not work there was no one there to ask no hot water for tea. Found two small cockroaches. I personally have a irrational fear of them and I was worrying all night ruining my sleep. I feel bad for hotels as guests accidentally bring then in, but if (like me) they bother you, maybe consider elsewhere. Poor location if you do not drive. long distance from Washington DC. ok The lights didnt work , had to unplug the clock as it was the only live outlit! went to heat up my dinner the microwave didn't work ! took a shower the hair dryer didnt work! need I say more. Dirty, Hair in the sheets, dirty towels, smell of smoke, staff rude, shower tile mold, tile falling from shower walls, dirty pillows, cig. burns on furniture. we checked in and our resovation was not listed, gave us a room, walked in reuested non smoking, walked in there was an ash tray, stunk, put the air on helped a little took a shower, there was hair on the show walls from last people. but for the price, I guess you get what you pay for cheep!!!. Reeks of cigarettes regardless of nonsmoking selection, with undertones of mildew. Stains on pillow cases, slept with a towel over them. Blankets very suspect.
