The food and service at Atwater was amazing, although my friend and I were seated right next to a table with two small children and lots of trash from them under the table. Better placement would have been nice and the staff cleaned up the garbage as soon as the kids left. Everyone was more than accommodating, very polite, informative, and seemed truly concerned that each and every one of our needs were met. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and comfy. The food at Atwater is excellent.
all reviews » I was given a suite do to my reservation not being on Vail Cascade's computer. Thank goodness I had my printout from letsbookhotel.com in my hand. The entrance, library and bar were quite nice with lovely views. I just loved this resort, the staff was very helpful and always available. Everything was close either by a beautiful river walk or by shuttle. They made us feel like royalty. I liked the luxury of the room for the price paid. The staff was very accommodating. I liked the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser instead of individual bottles. We stayed in the Creekside Condos which had a nice back patio hitch overlooked the Gore River. Also these condos had direct access to a separate pool and hot tub. The resort was located within walking distance of all the activities but far enough away to be peaceful and restful. LOVED IT!. Location on creek, trail between villages easily walkable, staff was most accommodating,. Location. Close to Denver, yet right at the mountains. Excellent customer service. hospitality, very friendly, willing to help and take care of their customers. Spa & pool areas were outstanding !. Loved staying right on the river. Location and stream nearby!!. Spacious - - - clean - - -. convenience to mountain. Everything!. I have nothing negative to say. I thought the Atwater Restaurant needed a make over compared to other resorts in Vail and Beaver Creek area. The dinner menu was very average. Nothing! I was so sad to leave. Our room had a large tree in front of it, couldn't see much. We couldn't stay longer!. Carpet pretty worn and a little dirty; it was a handicapped room, which was ok but no one asked if it was ok, no coffee in the condo, the deck in front had weeds growing through the plank floor. Nothing. Dealing with the room charge problems. Gruggling sounds in sink area!. nothing. NO COFFEE until market opened at 6:30am. And then, you had to buy it. For the price of this resort, they should at least offer complimentary coffee to early risers. It is highly unusual that they do not. Leaving. I didn't like that we were amongst a floor(s) of a group from NY. They had many children and were very loud! I would not recommend visiting while this group is there, every July!.
