Loved the modern decor and the comfy beds. My friend and I split the truffle mac and cheese at Bite Restaurant and it was amazing! The location is central to many venues, museums and other adventures. Big, beautiful lobby with glass art all around. Each floor featured a different glass artist from around the world. Super fast elevators. Great city view. Beautiful, modern, marble bathroom.
all reviews » The hotel had very good original art in the lobby, bar, and rooms. The room was very clean and the beds were high quality. The view looking towards Mt. Rainier was spectacular. We absolutely loved the suite and view of mountains and night sky. Having two bathrooms was wonderful with teenagers.We also brought our dog and felt welcomed. I was on the 25th floor overlooking the port. Beautiful room, beautiful view! The staff was wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We found the hotel staff to be friendly and the basic accommodations very nice. The location is excellent and the hotel is very clean. Great hotel bar and bartender, great design in lobby and rooms, comfortable bed. Overall, a fantastic stay. downtown, and we could see the pugget sound,trolly's. It was close to Le May auto museum also. Everything, it was a vacation stay that we'll remember for quite some time. Cleanliness; your Bell Captain was excellent. Location Lobby decor. Comfy bed. Parking at the hotel is super expensive, especially for Tacoma. Service at Bite was just OK, but the food was great. The staff was not very attentive and tended to just walk away and leave you sitting there for long periods of time. A couple of minor mistakes in our room. I could have called the lobby to have them fixed but they weren't a big enough deal. They charge $9.95 a day for a wi-fi connection. In this day and age, that is just silly. We ate at Bite, the hotel restaurant. Friendly service, but it was downhill from there. Stale rolls, uninspired cooking. In fairness, they did very good salads. There was a high pitched sound to many of the tv stations it was very annoying. The front desk did comp us when I told her which was nice. I bought a bottle of wine from the honor bar but had to wait an hour for the wine opener. that was weird. The sink in the bathroom is not very good. It is difficult to use without getting water all over the counter and the stopper did not work. While the coffee machine in the room and the coffee itself were good, there is no way to make tea. A little pricey. Can't really think of anything. It was a perfect stay. Charge for parking. The Hot Tub/ Spa is still not in working order. Parking cost extra Elevators Extremely SLOW and overcrowded - Wait time was 5-10mins Could smell old smoke in our room upon arrival. Crusty towel, expensive, lack of free breakfast, lack of refrigerator and microwave.
