Needed a room for 4 adults. This was the Cheapest and almost the only location that had availability- room was ok. Breakfast was nice. Early breakfast available which is nice option if needed for traveling. Nice selection for breakfast- included! Had waffles, cereal, oatmeal, toast, orange, apple juice and milk. Coffee too! Very nice. Can't beat it for the price!. The staff was friendly and helpful and did their best to make our trip comfortable. Including moving us to a cleaner functional room. Every staff member we spoke to was kind and courteous.
all reviews » This was the nicest motel room we had on our 16 day trip!! It was large, had all the conviences and the bed was very comfortable! Plus there were eating places in the same block!!. The staff was great, very easy to deal with, and also a great help with information & directions. Very courteous staff, very good room for the money, morning coffee and breakfast. Nice spacious rooms with kitchen. Breakfast. Nothing. The price and cleanliness of the room even though it was an older motel. Good..... Price, size of unit, breakfast included. Generally good value for money. Price was right. Linens and bathroom were clean. Location was good. Really a non-smoking room! Clean and neat. Priced right. The ease of check in/out. I liked the location,. Affordable and hbo. Price. The staff was fairly friendly. Large rooms - lots of space. I didn't like that the pool was not heated, and no spa available. There is a ton of room by pool but know chairs anywhere to sit. In the room, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Still have back pain a couple days after returning home. Didn't like pillows. Half a pillow? Had to go to front desk to get more pillows. Staff helped with pillows though, by supplying more. The first night we were put in a room with a broken air conditioner, broken pull out bed, with a horrible mattress. The room was 110 degrees, and our kid had to sleep in our bed due to the condition of hers. They moved us the next morning. To a much better room that we stayed in the rest of the trip. Our room was on the other side from the Ice Machine!! That was actually the only bad thing!. WIFI was weak, slow, and sometimes not available. Breakfast was poor. Poor wifi signal. How dirty it was. I left a bug under my pillow. We stayed two nights and the room was alright. However, the continental breakfast was the worse we have ever experienced. There was not enough milk, bowls, plates, waffle mix and no fruit. The second morning: there was no milk, no cereal, no coffee and limited on bread, waffle mix and the clerk said there was no one to go get the needed items. BAD, BAD, BAD. Some conditions. i.e. hideabed needed replacement. Curtains hanging over heater in main room. needed some utensils and supplies in kitchen i.e. tea towels and some cutlery and dishes. Lock on front door needed fixing. Table and chairs were grungy and needed replacing. Previous room residents had removed mini fridge, microwave and light bulbs. Heavy disinfectant smell in room. Uncomfortable beds. Poor choice(s) of breakfast items. The running toilet water and being told somebody would look into it and nobody ever did... The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. The middle of the bed seemed to have an edge. One side was nice and firm and the other was extremely soft and hard on the back. The exterior of the building was not as nice as I expected. No hot water in the morning for shower :(. Property needs a lot of sprucing up and fixing up. When the staff was asked what there was to do in and around Sierra Vista, we were told that there was only the base. They were not knowledgeable about the area at all and didn't seem to care. No literature about the surrounding area. Virtually fraudulent to be described as having a kitchenette, when there were no cutlery, crockery or utensils available. Dreary appearance.
