The lady who greeted us at check-in was very friendly, prompt, cheerful, helpful and professional. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was in great working order. The room was exactly what we expected and fit our needs very well. We ran the fan on 'outside air' overnight to keep the room from being stuffy, and in spite of a cool evening, the bed coverings kept us very warm and cozy. all reviews » Dollar for dollar, you will not find a better deal than this hotel. The room was gorgeous, clean and recently remodeled. Free wi-fi and a lovely breakfast dining area that goes above and beyond with their selection including fresh waffles and even biscuits and gravy! You truly feel like you're staying in one of the more expensive chains. A great staff and great location make this an outstanding choice for any traveler. Location great. The bath/shower unit was a bit worn-looking, but worked absolutely perfectly. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There were a few spots in the room where some fresh paint was needed, but again this was no big deal. If I had to find one thing, it would be nice if they had some basic vending machines somewhere in the hotel. Not a big deal though if you just plan ahead. No elevator. Smokey rooms! Requested/confirmed room not available. Dirty tub. Rocking toilet. Security door to side entrance was broken all weekend. The second night it was completely off the hinge. Anyone could've entered the side entrance all night long. It was not safe. Additionally, shower needed cleaning and there was a mildew odor from the shower curtain. The Super 8 was not so super. Tub was dirty, coffee maker did not work. Breakfast selection was very poor. Bathroom tub was stained and didn't look kept up. Windows were very dirty, curtains had holes , door had a band aide on it, dont why ? Sheets felt dirty ,Nothing as discribed on letsbookhotel.com and on line was rated very high , should have been rated a (3) I had reservations for 4 nights but I am very well maintained and felt dirty staying 1 night so I canceled it and I feel I shouldn't have even had to pay.
