What people say
Beautiful grounds, sweet little pond with nice landscaping. Cabins are cute, comfortable and well stocked for cooking. Off the beaten track--in the woods, nice neighborhood for walking. There is a fabulous crepe restaurant around the corner even though it is in a neighborhood.
Excellent facilities in a great location if you don't have to be
directly in Seward. Other reviewers have complained about not meeting an
owner onsite, but this was no problem at all. The one small question we
had was promptly answered by phone.all reviews »
Beautiful cottages nested in a clearing in the woods by a beautiful, well maintained spring. We had a 2 bedroom cottage that had a kitchen, living area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. It was so quiet and beautiful!.
Stayed in the Fisherman cabin. Great to have two bedrooms, family room and kitchen. Helped with the food budget when we could eat at the cabin. With WFI it made it great for us to do a little work.
Cabin was above expectations. Had directv, tempurpedic mattresses , gas stove , nice shower , lots of nice towels, 3 beds & 2 hideabeds. Beautiful water features everywhere.
Cabins clean, well furnished, warm and very family friendly. Ground were wonderful for both kids and adults. firewood available and barbeques, everything manicured beautifully.
the room is very warm and comfortable, the facilities are very good! We love to stay in this little cabin very much!.
Cleanliness, size of rooms and closets with many hangers, furniture, internet connection etc. etc.
We liked the outdoor feeling of the cabin sites and location to the river and mountains.
Secluded, with beautiful surroundings; interior was lovely, very cozy and comfortable.
Cabins were clean, well taken care of, very nice setting in the woods.
I liked the cabin a lot. It was very comfortable and clean.
Great cabin! Best place we stayed during our ten day trip!.
Beautiful setting clean and comfortable great facilities.
Clean modern cabins. Comfortable bed. Very nice grounds.
Great accomodation, very well kept and comfortable.
Very nice, easy to find and clean.
Everything.
Having our own kitchen was great, (also, that it was stocked was another
bonus) and feeling like we weren't just staying in another hotel
room was also really nice. The cabin atmosphere helped us get into the
mountain state of mine.
no breakfast but we check the letsbookhotel.com the hotel with breakfast.
the drive was nice.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Laundry facility needed longer hours or a key code to the door.

None.
nothing.
The couch in the living room was not comfortable for sitting and visiting. It was a futon but much to wide to sit comfortably & there were no other soft chairs to sit on.
Reservation system, I did not have access to the email with the door
codes and the person handling the reservation was annoyed I did not have
that info. I only looked at the invoice when the email came and did not
scroll down to find out the door codes. Assumed a person would be on
site for check in.
It would be nice to be able to talk to a staff, but it was OK for us.
I think including breakfast as part of the price is wrong when that
breakfast is a packet of muesli and bag of pancake mix in the press, we
wld hv preferred to pay a non breakfast rate and saved some money. We
bought our own fresh cereal fruit and milk. Just so ppl know this is a
lovely place to stay but be aware it is 15min drive from seward and that
is the closest place to by any food etc so arrive prepared I think the
owners should let guests know that.
The cabin was represented as a waterfall view cabin, I did not expect it
to be man made. When it was mentioned that breakfast was included I did
not expect to have to buy the milk and eggs and cook it also. This being
said it was still very nice and we would stay there again.
Can't think of anything.
The bed was very uncomfortable, and the whole place needed a good
dusting. We didn't really see anyone who worked there, so if there
was an issue (which there wasn't) I wouldn't have been sure who
to talk to.
there was rabbit droppings on the couch and a few other places and for 125 a night we should not have had to wash our own dishes the place was actually cleaner when we left than when we got there and the promised bbq was not available the owner obviously does not clean well maybe its just because it was the off season but I feel we should have gotten it a little cheaper.
