the coutyard view rooms are STUNNING!! when you walk out the patio and there is a vine covered gazebo with seating for 10 outdoors, it's just a breathtaking escape to watch the sunrise or sunset or both! we had our entire wedding party stay in the hotel and all shared an afterparty at the patio gazebo - also the food in the Elote Cafe was SENSATIONAL! best food I've tasted in Sedona and I've been visiting several times a year for over 7 years now! all reviews » Clean room. Built in 1994, decor is lavender and mint color. Decent breakfast, white bread though. Granola is too sweet, like frosted flakes. Apples. Walking distance to most everything, great location, price. I loved the pool and hot tub. STaff was so helpful. Rooms were so clean. Ice was readily available. pool towels always available. We loved everything. The scenery around the hotel was breathtaking. The facility was immaculate, the staff was extremely helpful, the grounds were well manicured. The room was spacious. There was NO water pressure in the shower...it took me 25 minutes to rinse out my hair. The breakfast was as good as I would have liked very limited selection. It was free (included) so I guess it is what it is. pool was cold and dirty with algae and debris, rooms could be updated. Needed more informational area pamphlets . Needs half hour earlier breakfast time. Our room was on the ground floor which was a big plus. However, on our second night, the occupants of the room on top of our room were inconsiderate. They walk around with heavy steps. I'm a light sleeper, so I am awaken with any step sound they make. Next time, I'm going to ask for a room on the highest floor. The use of disposables at breakfast - cups, plates, cutlery all went in the bin. Breakfast setup was a bit chaotic compared to similar hotels. For us/not applicable. Can't think of anything. The breakfast wasn't very appetizing, we ended up going to Heartline Cafe. The breakfast was a bit light on protein choices... Tried it the first morning, went down the street on the second morning. The bathroom was a little small. Breakfast bar could stand some serious help. No cream cheese or peanut butter. It was adequate, but just that. Breakfast room furniture was uncomfortable and too crowded. A little cheese and meat would have been nice on the buffet. sometimes staff was not so friendly. The breakfast was not compare able to other hotals that we stayed at on this trip. A bit noisy in the morning, with all the loud kiddies, and a large tour group departing early. Breakfast could of had 2 waffle makers.... to long of a wait, and more fruit. We wanted a late checkout which is usually 1:00pm or later in most other hotels in America, but King's Ransom normal checkout is 11:00 am and would only allow till noon. The hotel was empty at that time. It would have been nice to have had that extra hour. They said that even if we were a few minutes late, they would charge us 1/2 a day. I thought that was a poor way to treat their customers. Needed a hoover! Breakfast was basic however for price was adequate. What's not to like???. N0 flat panel tv"s. Nothing that I didn't like. Nothing in particular. Low light by doorway and hard to see steps. No elevator in the inn. Found hairs in the "clean" sheets, and they weren't mine. Bed needs more pillows.
