The staff were very helpful and everything was attractive and well kept. Our room was large and well appointed. Decor was appealing. Free Happy Hour fun and great way to unwind. Nice breakfast but no gluten free cereal. Nice pool area. We would definitely stay here again. They were very nice. They called us to ensure we wanted our room clean for continuous stay. When we came back from being out all day the room was fresh and neat- I could tell they really cleaned and not just wipe over things. Great experience!.
all reviews » the bed was fabulous and the room was very nice and comfortable. the outside hallway well lit and clean. the breakfast was lovely i.e. make your own waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juices and coffees. The receptionist was particularly helpful. She even helped us try to move our reservation to the downtown location, but it did not work out. I'm glad we stayed at this location though. Nicole was very helpful due to my late night arrival, directions. Thanks Nicole, now my daughter will be attending scad I plan to make Comfort Suites my first choice hotel!. Hotel was clean, New, easy access from the highway. Staff person was wonderful and she was there both when I checked in at night and in the morning. Absolutely loved room-two queens! Bed was very comfortable. Quiet! Got great night's sleep! Many amenities. Staff very pleasant and helpful!. This room was the best room we have rented outside of New York City I would not hesitate to book this room again when going to Savannah. Very comfortable,clean,friendly staff,close to I95,and even included breakfast. Will be stopping there on our way home. It had everything that we needed,a stopover near Savannah and get back on the highway the following morning. Room was spacious, extra pull out bed in sofa was super convenient, ruby Tuesday right across parking lot. Loved the room. The lady that checked us in from the night shift was super! We had looked forward to using the inside pool but the heater was broken. It was not the hotel I thought it was...I originally thought this one was in down town Savanah. Breakfast was terrible. Continental breakfast rated a "poor". Coffee was weak and lukewarm. Sausage and eggs were lukewarm. Quality of food overall was poor. Would not return because of that. Indoor pool wasn't heated, very cold. There was no Gideon Bible in our room but down stairs there were books promoting Budism in the lobby. Needs better lighting over mirror in bathroom. The chlorine smell in the pool area was too loud. Use less chemical. The complementary breakfast is nothing special. Coffee maker needs to be properly clean, it was unusable. Breakfast buffet, bread was dry, runny waffle batter, watered down orange juice. Shower in bathroom had mold in it, needs better cleaning, found old stinky socks in room safe. Room wasn't ready upon check- in. nothing. Parking was limited.. Room service was a lil pushy. Overall the staff was exceptional except for one gentleman, who had very poor standards of customer service. Nothing. Breakfast room was so hot, we could not eat in it. Something to dislike was not found. Carpeting dirty and stained in hallways. Only one elevator. Long wait times. Location - too far from downtown Savannah. Did not have a bar. Noisy at night. Was given a hard time for having a service dog. I was traveling to the Mayo clinic for surgery and I require a service dog. I called them in advance to inform them but when I got there I was given a hard time by the manager. Ada requires all public access locations allow service dogs but they didn't seem to care. The drains in our room were very slow....shower and sink.... The housekeeping staff were pretty insistent that my room be cleaned every day. I was there for 15 days and felt it unnecessary, but I was told the housekeepers don't get paid if they don't clean a room :-( The air conditioner was very loud. The shower head needed to be replaced. The remote for the TV was inefficient. Bathroom lighting was more like "mood lighting"; I couldn't see well enough to put on my makeup. The whirlpool did not work. We advised the hotel clerk, Nycole and she was very rude. The hotel overcharged my credit card $50 and had to redo the charge. Sheets were stained, towels were worn. Pricey. i have a bad back so the bed was to soft for me.sorry. I called ahead because we needed a two room suite with our kids, I asked specifically if it had two rooms n was told there as the two queens with a separate living space. It was not a suite! Not comfortable.bad night.for us n our special needs children. Closet smelled like vomit. Did not get the room I requested when I made reservation. When I checked in got keys to a room already rented. Front desk lady did not seem to know what she was doing. Came down later and phones were ringing and couple was waiting to check in no one was on the desk for almost 5 mins. The pool had a bad chlorine smell. It also was so strong your eyes would burn very bad. I had to keep stepping outside to get a breath of fresh air. The indoor pool was the main reason for choosing this hotel. The shower stall was not clean nor was the jacuzzi. Breakfast was not good. No protein options, only a lot of carbs! And one type of fruit. Staff made you feel like you were annoying them if you needed something. Workout area very small and tv did not work there. Some stains on towels & sheets. Overpriced for the level of service. Tub in one room wasn't working. It didn't get fixed. Tha GM was notified and neverw responded. Price was ridiculous for the rooms provided Would NEVER stay ther again or recommend it to anyone.
