This was the best value for the space, amenities and staff, as well as convenience, among the 35 places we have stayed in the past 2 months. Clearly, I highly recommend it! All these well maintained: pool, hot tubs, exercise room, laundry room, lovely reading room, lobby. The location and property for the price. We had a one bedroom suite, so had ample room in our bedroom and our 5 year old slept on the fold out couch. Loved having a refrigerator. Staff was great. Nice to have the heated pool and hot tubs.
all reviews » We liked the beauty of the hotel which is decorated Southwestern style. The ambiance was warm with the fireplaces. Then we got to our tasteful, well insulated suite which had all the amenities for a pleasant experience. Great location; easy walk to the Plaza square, Governor's Palace & native Indian craft market, historic Cathedrak & Loretto Chapel--the O'Keeffe museum, as well. Plus the resort will provide a free shuttle. I like the comfy home feeling. I like that it has a great location. Love the kitchenette. It has a tv in both the living area and bedroom. Has nice coffee pots in the rooms. It had a nice hot tub area. The resort had a welcoming reception desk with attentive and helpful staff. Our room was a one bedroom suite and was just wonderful. The quality of the furnishings was very good and quite comfortable. Room was very well appointed. The kitchen was well thought out and nicely supplied, including a full-size coffee pot. Excellent bed and linens. Only a few blocks from the Palace of the Governors. Loved the room and the closeness to the mountain (Ski Santa Fe). The suite was clean and big and not that expensive at all. Plus the villa was close to the supermarket and local eateries. Comfortable bed. Relaxing pool. Nice kitchen-cooking. Although I reserved two double beds on letsbookhotel.com, when I arrived I was told "we can't guarantee bedding type" and found myself in a room with one king bed (I was eventually moved to a room with two doubles). It took three calls to the front desk to get the roll-away bed I reserved online a week before. There was no bedding for the queen pull-out bed, and no hot water the next morning. The size of the suite was very nice. The free shuttle service appreciated along with the free parking. I liked the hotel's location and the apartment was well-appointed. Location of hot tub. Nothing!. Nothing. It was all great. Needs balconies on every room. Sometimes we get a balcony and sometimes not. Even just staying for a wk end would like staff to clean daily. At least maybe just replenish towels and washcloths. The location was good, but a few blocks from downtown. The resort offered a shuttle service which a very nice service to be provided by the resort. Staff was a bit indifferent. The treatment for the prior guest checking in was much more cordial (booked directly with Diamond Resorts) than what I received (coldly stated "I see you made your reservation through letsbookhotel.com"). The only drawback was that I thought I had requested a suite with two beds and a pullout couch and what I got was one king and a pull out couch. But since I did everything online, I may have overlooked something. Coffee....really bad coffee. Nothing. They charged us greater amount for an extra day after staying there four nights. Check out was at 10 am. Did not impact us on our stay but could be an issue for some. That we could not stay longer. nothing. It seemed like the hotel was a little noisy; maybe the walls weren't insulated or something but you could hear your neighbor pretty easily, and people in the hallway. Turn on your AC fan and the problem goes away. Some of the things in the room did not work staff was good to try to fix it but it broke quickly. Some of the staff especially at the front desk was excellent the best I've ever seen. But there was also one or two that talked very loud outside the door at 5:30 in the morning and was rude when I approached. Parking lot. Spaces vary in width and are painted over previous angle parking configuration. Very tight parking, but was always able to find a space. We weren't warned at check-in that housekeeping wouldn't be coming in to change towels or empty trash. No free wifi in the room ; we had to pay for a connection that didn't work properly. Pool was not open, did not allow for late checkout, but minor issues. Smallish. Bathroom - dark; vanity area cramped, tub/toilet room overly large. We were told we'd have a room we'd had before, but when we got there we were assigned a different one. The manager was a little snippy about why that happened. It worked out ok, though. we had a quiet room with the same floor plan. maid service.
