We had a wanderful 3 days trip in this hotel. This hotel is just a short drive from Santa Cruz and about an 1 drive from San Francisco. The room was very clean and the bed was very confortable. The hot tube and the heated pool was very nice even the weather was a bit chilly. The restaurant is very nice too. At check out the hotel wanted to charge me the wrong price but after I complained they solved the problem very quickly. This hotel is very good if you want to stay close to Santa Cruz or eve.
all reviews » The rooms and the staff were most attentive to our needs. The desk staff friendly and helpful. We had an excellent waiter for dinner who understood our needs and time constraints; he also arranged a cab for us. The bed was comfortable and got a good nights sleep. The staff it was very friendly, I liked the fact that the pool is heated, my rooms was clean and comfortable. over all my wife and I really enjoyed the two nights we stayed there. Very nice and relaxing place. Clean and spacious rooms and friendly staff. Could easily have spent one more day at this hotel!. Staff was super-friendly and helpful when we checked in, when I used business center and when I needed toothbrushes. The facility is wide open, spacious and clean. Rooms are good sized, clean, efficient. pool and hot tub were clean, but robes provided in rooms would have been nice. Lovely hotel, close to national park area. Friendly staff and nice facilities. We liked the proximity to Santa Cruz attractions and the spa/ pool. Hotel. Was wonderful, room spacious and staff excellent. The rooms were very nice and the food was good. Friendly staff and free Valet parking!. I loved my view from our balcony. Great Views awesome rooms. Clean and quiet. Room Gym. The pool and spa. Room was clean. Only a couple of things really. Need some better breakfast meats or lower the price for the buffet. There was not enough sugar and cream in the room for coffee in the morning. The jacuzzi gets really crowded at night time, so we had to stay in the pool the whole time : / It's 10 - 15 mins driving to the boardwalk, depending on the traffic. Mattress in our room was soft and uneven. We had an issue with the toilet running and it was loud. We called it in about 20 minutes after check in and they said an engineer would be right up to address the issue. Nobody showed. The following morning, as we were preparing to checkout, an engineer called to ask if he could come by to look at the toilet. Day late and a that's problematic when you are only in town for one night. No continental breakfast, at room price we felt that should have been included. Also dining room looked too much like a cafe, no ambience whatsoever. Would never have dinner there. Nothing. elevator was a little slow but that's it. everything else was fine. Minor details such as alarm clock not set to correct time, missing soap from box and smelly carpet. The time it took for the elevator. It was the slowest elevator I have ever seen. Bed was a little uncomfy and we had rhe King whirpool suite. Dish TV limited, no local channels. Rooms were small. Spa was always crowded.
