The location is great. Close to everything. Really enjoyed the private entrance to each room. The room included free breakfast and cheese and wine in the evening.
We ended up having to cut our vacation short because our little one wasn't feeling great and the hotel did not charge us for the nights we didn't stay. Really appreciate that.

Smart motel just off of the seafront. Clean and tidy with comfortable rooms. Staff were very helpful. Good internet access and no problems parking. Could have happily stayed a week here.
I like the fact that it is small. You feel cared about, it's
intimate. If anything is wrong they take care of it right away. They are
very very nice, sophisticated, a good staff.
The room was very clean and smelled fresh. It had an old style feeling with modern touches in the right places. We loved this Inn and will stay there again.

The location was good, but not as close to the harbor and State St. As
some of the other hotels. Parking wasn't an issue, even if you dont
get one of the small lot spaces there should be ample street parking. It
was quaint, in a good way. Reminded me of some of the hotels I have used
in Europe.

Very regular trains cross the road nearby and sound their horns as they do, and well into the night. However you would hear this from all the local hotels!!!.
I stayed in a room that was big enough, but some of the single rooms
(which is all I can afford) are very very small. That's not the
owner's or manager's or staff's fault - that's the
configuration of the property.
The TV was in an awkward place. But we didn't go to watch TV. It would be better if it were hidden or no TV.
Just be super mindful of parking restrictions if car park is full. We got a ticket for simply parking the car the wrong way around on the adjacent roads. Otherwise everything was great!.
Breakfast a bit basic. Bread for toast? How about a local wine instead of Almaden jug wine?.
The ac was operational, but didnt work, as it it never got cool. The
room stayed about 78 through the night. I'm not one to complain, we
just dealt with it. But at $225 a night you'd expect ac. Thats a
relatively budget price for sb though.

Our room was on bath street. Extremely noisy, day and night. We would
have loved an off the street courtyard room-would have been perfect. We
felt that perhaps reserving through a discount broker affected our room
assignment. Disappointed.
The quality of the Motel...and the breakfast.
Room faced one res. Street & sided to another. Street had noise all
hours of the night. That was with the windows closed. And no a/c, so
had to get floor fan from the office. Maybe others rooms were ok. The
person at check-in misrepresent this room. Will never stay here again.
