Loved the friendly attendant! He showed us all the great spots to visit, the best times to stop by, n was friendly even though we are a huge Dodgers fans! He on the other hand is a huge Giants fan ;) lol Would definiteky stay here again!!. A few blocks to city center, free parking, calm neighborhood, friendly and helpful staff, clean. Breakfast locations close by. The staff was very receptive and really helpful. Location is good, very close to downtown, transportation and shopping areas.

I am very disappointed that I was not allowed to cancel my reservation last Friday. 5 days before my reservation on Jan 9, without being charged the wole night stay. I live 100 miles away and was coming to the city for an UCSF appointment at China Basin. My appointment was cancelled and threfore I wanted to cancellmy reservation. Seemed very run down area felt afraid when we were booking in as a homeless person was trying to get into the office and get a bed for the night but Ricky told him he didn't have a room for him. verouderde locatie muffe kamer. Bad neighbourhood, our car got broken UNO and he windows smashed. Super expensive for a pretty old motel but this is San Fran!. Rooms were extremely loud. Woke up early to someone hammering outside my door. The rooms are of a poor quality. Cover of beds are dirty, one electrical outlet didn't work at all - the other you want not to use because of missing coverage. It was not the best experience to stay here for two nights. The price (129 US$) was higher than in our 5-star hotel in portland. Which will have of course something to do with the priceniveau in SF, I fairly have to add... The desk clerk tried to overcharge me. When I confronted him he eventually said he'd credit the excess off my card. He did not do that, in fact, he added that as a charge! We have stayed at he motel at least twice before if not 3 times. You'd think they would want our business. Well, that's not going to happen.
