It was much quieter than staying downtown, with easy access to the bus and not far from Golden Gate Park by car. Good restaurants within an easy walk. It's not a luxury hotel, but perfectly adequate and well cared for. Parking is limited, but it wasn't hard to find a spot in that neighborhood. Friendly personnel, location, beds. location. The hotel was a lot better than we expected for the rating. It was quietaway from the main busy street and got a good nights sleep. The mainstaff were helpful and friendly when you asked for help. The place wasclean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was servicedevery day and always lovely and tidy. Shower was excellent and good airconditioning and good safe in room.all reviews »
I liked how clean it was. I thought it would be dingy because it was so cheap, but was pleased to find it so clean!. central location... very clean - environmental services for clean air and water. clean. Helpful manager who gave good advice re trips. the location. clean room, proximity to places we wanted to visit, free internet. The positon near the bridge but quite. quiet, nice rooms. Good location, quite place.location. Breakfast, was far below American standard. No fridge was a nuisance. (Had to rent it as was locked) We had the roomon ground floor, could hear people upstairs walking around at times. 5 or 6 parking spaces for 20 or so rooms?? And not much available on the street and what is available has restrictions on the hours you can park and so forth as it is a city. You should advise about this better rather than be told that it is "first come - first served" upon arrival.Breakfast arrangements aphazard. Advise future occupants to take a tray. parking, though free, was very limited and in a very tight space. It was entertaining watching the cars trying to extricate themselves from the lot however.charge of $3 to use the room refrigerator. Braekfast very poor. not very convenient location, very few parkingspaces, not good for big cars. - we could not use the bath, - too less parking space. Small parking. breakfast is meager, not much choice, if you don't like pastries.
