beautiful large room overlooking Mackinaw Island with balcony. Large heated pool & hot tub great free breakfast we would stay there again ferry to island nearby. Friendly informative staff. Comfortable, clean accommodations, overlooking the water. Included nice Breakfast. Free Shuttle to ferry dock. Close to Mackinac Is. This just looked so interesting, I decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, I was completely out of season, but it has a certain charm. Pool was nice.
all reviews » Liked the view and the way the room was set up, it gave privacy with the Suite. It was nice enough to stay for the weekend. Everyone was very pleasant. Even when we had to take the keys back 3 times. Maybe my phone in my pocket. A commodious room with separate wash and toliet facilties. A good view from the balcony of the lake. Good friendly staff. Motorcycle friendly and helpful. Nice room comfortable bed and nice shower. Location, atmosphere, balcony & lake view, pool, jacuzzi,friendly staff. The balcony/waterfront view. Great rooms and staff. location, layout, convenience, staff, all excellent . it is a very nice place, in need of a serious overhaul for the asking prices. It was very cute and clean. Grounds were very nice Good view Very little traffic on roads. The room we had, had a beautiful view of Lake Huron and we enjoyed the sunrise every morning. That was about the only thing we liked!. the View of balcony is really good, face to the sun rise side and lake Huron. It was right on the water. And, the pool/hot tub/ sauna area was nice. Decent view of coastline. Would like an in house restaurant. Breakfast was a little disappointing and definitely done on the cheap. The rooms where dated and the rooms could use a makeover, but for the price, I would stay again. Clean, nice location and great view. Couldn't stay long enough. getting out of the back driveway. Steep hill and hard to see on coming traffic. We were in king bed, nonsmoking room. The bathroom in our room was extremely small. Some of the other guest rooms had much larger accommodations. Also a microwave would have been nice. Breakfast room needs updating & more variety. It was a bit cramped. Nothing. seems to be getting a bit "shop-worn". carpets need cleaning or replacement. doors & mechanics work erraticly. It was not what I expected. The online said we could see the bridge from our room and we could not. It was not the honeymoon resort I thought it would be. There isn't a beach, and its very rocky (sharp rocks) in the water enterance. The pool was VERY cloudy and dirty (lots of bugs for being indoors). Didnt like being woken up at 9am to two men entering my room (without permission) to install a new t.v. Old, worn, outdated. Did not feel clean Boxspring on bed was badly stained, appeared to be blood and urine Breakfast not very good. Some items were stale, not much variety. The carpeting was dirty, the light fixtures in the bathroom were dirty there was no microwave in the room! The breakfast area was too small. The plastic chairs on the balcony had a white film on them which got on your clothes when you sat on them! We were not impressed with this place especially for what you pay for it. everything else besides the location. Room was outdated, and rundown. The mattresses were awful, and so uncomfortable! I wouldn't be surprised if the mattress has been there since the hotel opened! The front desk guy seemed nice enough, but gave us 3 horrible restaurant recommendations before venturing out on our own and finding a great place he never even mentioned! I was overall, incredibly disappointed with this hotel. I probably will never go back, unless they renovate the entire hotel. Very minimal continental breakfast. Nothing fancy about the rooms.
