Staff is fantastic. Been there yearly for homeschool conference and same staff is there always - and always attentive and helpful. Loved the pool area. The geese snd their babies were great to see. There were many places to relax and enjoy the lake. I like the fact that the rooms overlook the lake and the concert series. staff very friendly and accomodating , rooms quite comfortable.

The beds are wonderful. We were there to attend the Chris Botti concert, the venue was wonderful. We would attend another concert their but would not stay there. Nothing!. Nothing. nothing. The new card room isn't great for the kid atmosphere of conference. Price of food was not to high. charged a different price then what booking dot. com quoted. Since I had to return to work immediately after Sacramento trip haven't been able to straighten out details. Rate was a bit stiff. The night the music was so loud at the night club...but it was turned down when I complained. :). They were not prepared for volume of people in the bar. We had to ask several times for music to be turned on in the lounge after the concert. They really missed an opportunity to continue the evening after concert. People were leaving because there was no service. Very basic room...not a very good value. The non-smoking room smelled of smoke. The facility is very spread out and long walks, poorly marked pathways, hard to find ice machines. They had increased the prices in the bar and restaurant because there was a show, that was what we were informed by staff. Everything!. OMG where do I begin? We had to have "maintenance" come and replace a light bulb and get the TV to turn on, When retiring after 10PM we discovered that the "Sleep #" mattress control did not work so we had to sleep on a rock hard mattress, the chintzy one-cup coffeemaker leaked all over the counter AND, get this, this Deluxe room is on the 2nd floor BUT YOU HAVE TO CARRY YOUR OWN SUITCASES UP FIFTEEN STEPS. THEY HAVE NO ELEVATORS!!!!!. Spiders invading the room and the window would not close. the room was musty and smelled. the tv and bed controllers didnt work.it was not worth 147 a nite.there was no fridge either. the water and ice at the bar taste nasty and the fries we ordered were under cooked and very greasy and the tortilla chips were stale. when we talked to the front desk they didnt really care. i would never come back here. *Facility much too big, too spread out *Difficult to find room * No hot water one morning * First room assigned - card key did not work, door would not open * 2nd room- card key problems 3 times. * Less then user friendly.
