the staff was good to great. Our evening gentleman was very helpful, the woman in the morning was awesome and super-friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by several things; the cleanliness of the room, availability of a coffee machine and hair dryer (didn't expect the dryer in a budget hotel), the decent breakfast and the fact that my non-smoking room was clean and fresh, did not smell of smoke and was not over-sprayed with fragrance spray to hide smoke. It is the only Super 8 I will stay in .
all reviews » The room was clean and quiet.I Didn't hear any noise from the other rooms even though the hotel was booked up. The location was great since it's close to the freeway and restaurants.The staff was very nice and eager to be helpful. My second visit in a month. I returned with my daughter and both kids just for fun and because at these prices, I could afford to splurge a little. The room was very clean and I did get extra pillows when I asked for them. The hotel helped me out when I wanted to pay cash, and did not realize I had to provide a depost as well.. Which I had not planned in my budget! Very grateful Thank You!. Very spacious clean room, good wifi signal, good parking. Very quiet, we slept very well. Friendly staff, and the breakfast was okay. Great value for money. I like the way the rooms are set up. Graveyard front desk clerk who was a nice young Indian gentleman went the extra mile. I think his name was Peavy. Anyway, I arrived a day early and only booked 3days on-line. He helped me get a great rate for 4th day and was very pleasant throughout my stay. My room was perfect. It was clean, quiet, everything worked. Internet was fine.It was Super 8!. The rooms were nice the pool wasn't open yet but the overall stay was good. The room was decently clean and front desk staff was helpful. Bathroom was newly redone. Nice bfast selection. Price was low. Room was upgraded because they goofed on the registration. Only two pillows available for two people, and thin ones at that. On the down side of this hotel, my room key didn't work and after three tries, the hotel clerk told me to just leave the door propped since the problem couldn't be fixed until the next day. Staff was accomodating, but not exactly warm. Breakfast lacked yogurt and fruit this time. Also some equipment, like microwave and juice machine need repairing. Kept smelling weed...not a huge problem, but it was strong! Maybe that's why we slept well?!. I don't like the surrounding neighborhood but this hotel does a great job keeping the riff raff off grounds. I booked the room for two days, but for some reason my key wouldn't work on the 2nd day and the housekeepers did not give me any towels after my first nights stay, however the front desk took care of it as soon as they were informed. One night clerk not real friendly.breakfast wasn't much. AAA discounts would have made this less expensive if booking directly with Super 8. Could have saved $7. n/a. well the name has changed so hard to find. they charge 40.00 for extras and since i stayed a second day after all was said and done i got charged that extra 40.00. plus got screamed at and woke up for my service dog as dogs aren'T ALLOWED BUT i had already shown them my certificate but staying the second day it got screwed up. the maids stay at you when you are leaving to the point it creeps you out. like your a thief in the night. Breakfast closed at 9;00. only one electrical outlet - on a lamp. maids knocking on door with do not disturb sign posted. This after front desk clerk informed/notified of 2:00pm or later cleaning due to guest working graveyard shift. Additionally, lead or supervisor of maids knocking on door at 10:30am & again at 10:48am telling me it's check out time now...I said I'd be out by 11:00am and I was...she was very rude. The common areas like hallways, floors need to be steam cleaned - too dirty. The outside needed some sprucing up. I didn't like that you couldn't enter but through the lobby. Didn't feel safe other than in my room. Had issues with the key system being temperamental. couldn't get an extra pillow. It was in a terrible neighborhood and there were homeless people lingering and sleeping on property. Receptionist goofed up the key card not never apologized. Sink is not in the bathroom. No elevator and they put us on the third floor, even the non smoking rooms had a stale smell. There was no elevator, the stairways were dirty and smelly. The room keys often failed to work. Something in the room gave my wife headaches.
