The hotel is undergoing renovation, but I was given a room that had just been renovated. Pleasant breakfast area. Helpful, courteous staff. Plenty of free parking. Some users have complained about the location, since it isn't within walking distance of central Saco or any restaurants, but, if you're going to this hotel you probably have a car anyway, so that's not a problem. The location is very convenient for anyone coming from the highway, and it's easy to find if you plug the address into th.
all reviews » The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were traveling with our two dogs and the inn helped make our stay as hassle free as possible. Breakfast offers the opportunity to make your own waffles and the oatmeal is hearty. The room was comfortable and spacious. We loved our stay in Saco. The room was beautiful and just renovated and it was spotless. The breakfast was great including hot and cold choices. The staff was very helpful, suggesting a restaurant and arranging a taxi. We will certainly stay again. This hotel was a fabulous deal for the money. Wonderfully clean with over-comfy beds, 24/7 hot beverages and the most accommodating staff in any hotel I have ever been in, they were fantastic!!. It was a delight to stay there and we appreciated the little touches of class. The beds were comfortable and all was very clean. One of the highlights of a 10 day vacation. Interior of room was nice. The Inn is a bit off the beaten path which may be a plus or a minus depending on your perspective. We liked being away from the hustle of the main roads. Isolated with nothing near it, had to drive to everything, but we had a car so wasn't an issue. The location was not easily accessable, nor convienient to other parts of the town. I called for directions and they were wrong. I got lost 2 times trying to find the hotel. Nothing. No real problems - bedding is always an adjustment (pillows). You need a bench out front to sit while waiting . We found this hotel below usual Hampton Inn standard. Remote location. Location of room was bad. On first floor, very noisy location, across from hotel laundry and guest laundry. People slamming doors and talking in the hallway, both staff and guests, until late at night. Bad place to sleep.
