clean room, comfortable bed with good support, plenty of electrical outlets, good sound insulation between rooms. The price was nice. It is good to stay here if you are staying for 2 nights no more than that. Pet friendly, helpful staff when EMS had to be called to my room. Location and ease of check in and check put. Room had been modernized and was clean. Lamp on nightstand between beds had 2 outlets on the base mad charging cell phones, etc very convenient. Although alarm cock and phone were across the room?? First night Internet worked fine.. The beds were comfortable and our room was clean. I liked the laminate floors instead of carpet. The furniture looked to be fairly new. We rested very well. It was cheaper then other hotels in the area, although i will probably pay a bit more for more updated ammenities. Place was good enough for what I needed and the building work only means it's going to get better. It was quiet and convenient yo where we needed to go. Room was very comfortable and updated. Price. letsbookhotel.com showed a red roof inn closer to Austin while I was booking, but then booked the one in ruond rock, which was far from Ausin. It was a pathetic experience because I had to stay away from the main city. I would not recommend this site to anyone. Its a disaster, it will ruin your trip!. Location. Nothing. As with most hotels the water restrictions in the shower are ridiculous,. few more upgrades is needed you could tell the rooms still need a little more painting. Need more staff at the front desk it was very busy. Need to serve complimentry breakfast!. Construction into the night above us. Maybe have a continental breakfast available. Only complaint is that the room was noisy due to people walking up and down halls and room above us. I know the purpose of hardwood floors was to help the cleanliness, but I'm not a big fan. Also the water was not hot. No coffee pot. steps. mildew stains in shower small bathroom. N/a. Air conditioner kept going on and off all night. Shortage of supplies and water was cold.... No hot water in shower for 3 nights ( just above room temp at best), housekeeping would not refresh the soap or shampoo, and you had to hold the handle the entire flush cycle or the toilet would get stopped very very easily... Second two nights Internet was so slow, could eat even log in to some website. Lastly went down to the front desk to borrow a pen and they said they didn't have any with several in a jar just inches for the computer keyboard?.?.?. The carpet in the hotel was worn and dirty. It needs to be replaced. When we arrived and I saw the carpet in the hallway, it made me wonder what our room would be like but it was a welcome change. The water pressure for the showers is horrible. The swimming pool was tiny. The room smelled very heavily of mold or mildew. The towels were so rough and harsh I got a rash everywhere on my body. Overall it was very cheap and I am not talking about the price. No kettle in the room, some of the finishing touches were rough around the edges with poor attention to detail. The first room we were given was not what I had booked plus it had a rotten banana and cracker wrappers laying around. The staff was quick to correct the situation. The bedspread had rips in it....the curtain was not hung correctly it had just been put up and let in light. Back doors weren't locked. They did have cameras, but I would prefer they were access controlled. Smoke smell in room. Broken AC, no cable. Pool hours closed early on a Saturday night. Microwave was to far from outlet you could not use it. Thin walls and floor. the room was so heavy with smoke smell ! .it got into all of our clothing and luggage.everything had to be washed to get the odor out. and the bath area could have been cleaner mainly around the shower and baseboards.. No Microwave in the room. There was no BF provided. Bathrooms could have been more clean. 1)Coffee should be where people can see and get it themselves, too strong and had to go next door 2)husband had disabilities and had to walk a long ways to our room 3)bathroom door was loose and did not lock 4) for the price we paid I thought it would be cleaner 5) applied on line for a room, now I'm getting all kinds emails about better room deals out of the country. Sure do not like that!. Fell far below Red Roof inn standards. Distinct lack of security. Rear entry door to hotel COMPLETELY MISSING. Anyone could just walk in. staff was un friendly. elevator threshold was filthy. trash was stacked in the lobby / break room both days we were there. lids to trash cans in the break room, lobbies & hallways were filthy. hallways needed vacuuming. construction debris was stored in the lobby/break room. restroom in lobby was dirty & smelled of urine Sunday morning when we checked out. very few amenities, bathrooms are in dire need of updating, pool in unrealistic area. It was a dump. I paid $149.00 per night to stay there and it was not clean, it was ghetto, and I did not feel safe there. Red Roof had better drop this site from there franchise name before others are turned off of the Red Roof name. Room was in oddly equipped. A safe but no microwave. Phone missing buttons, iron keeper but no iron, dirty coverlet and clean but very old sheets, a new shower but old shower head. Hotel was obviously in the middle of renovations. We entered the hotel through the back door after 11:00 pm only to discover no security access. The door was gone and anyone or anything could walk in the door and up the hall to the rooms. The staff did not know anything about their hotel. They were not courteous, some were actually rude. There was no coffee in the room which is really cheap. Thee was no cntinental breakfast which is really, really cheap.The cost was a rip off! In the last 6 months I have stayed at at least 10 hotels and this one was the worst. I would never recommend this one to anyone. Didn't realize that this was a place to go to buy illegal drugs. Patrons/Loiters asked us if we wanted to purchase drugs from them. Needless to say we checked out early and found a differant place to stay. The room smelled like a mixture of smoke,feet,body odor all though the room was clean and nonsmoking. Construction and the hotel was not clean.. First room was dirty and checked in at 8pm. There wasn't a Bible in the room and it wasn't very clean. Not what I expected!. During reservation, the quote was a lot lower than actual price, there were additional billings without explanations. Booking.com showed a red roof inn closer to Austin while I was booking, but then booked the one in ruond rock, which was far from Ausin. Staff unfriendly, no smiles no greetings, no hello or goodbyes. No remote, not enough towels(which is really no problem we can always call for more but the room only had 1 face towel in it. Had light just on 1 side of room no bulb on other side. Forgot bag of clothing and had to return to get it with no help from them to find it. Really a horrible experience there. Will not return!!!. linen was dirty and the room appeared smeone was in there before us. Linen was not changed on second day. Noisy hallway men abusing women on both nights. Bed stunk of vomit. A/C did not work properly. Shower has mildew on the walls, appears to have not been clean in months. All the walls were dirty. No microwave, they claimed to have. I had to go buy Lysol to disinfect the before I took my family in. And it looked as if it was a hang for strippers. Never will stay there again, anywhere. The hotel was being renovated and they had no coffee the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the bathroom towls were very small. Air Conditioner did not work. The room was very loud and we could here peple walking with the wood floors. My reservation was not even in the system. The motel royally sucked. Boo on all accounts.
