Everything was nearly perfect. The hotel is conveniently located downtown, just few steps from Pioneer Sq. and the shopping district. Rooms are clean, comfy and spacious. The staff is very kind and helpful and you can have valet service for your car at a reasonable price. Should I come back to Portland, I will surely stay at The Paramount.
all reviews After a 2 week bike tour camping and staying in cheap motels, The Paramount was exactly what we needed to recharge and relax before heading home. The service was pitch-perfect and the location was fabulous. The service and location were spot on. The rooms were very clean, with a jet tub as well as large shower. The staff were more than happy to assist with any and all questions. An amazing staff that made us feel completely welcome! The location was wonderful. Right in the heart of downtown. The view was outstanding from our 15th floor room. Can't get a better location in Portland, everything is close by. Rooms are very clean, spacious comfortable, really nothing to complain about. Nothing. i did not like that we had to pay for parking- as a leisure trip i would not stay here again for what i paid- you would have to pick up the parking or breakfast- 150 is alot before taxes-. The fact that breakfast was not included. Nothing. Fitness center could be better. Some street noise. Restricted room service hours and very restricted choice in restaurant unless you like Asian food. Pouring rain the night we arrived. faced a construction site that woke us up early. Exercise room very small. Nothing. Lack of umbrellas at the lobby. Doesn't have a coffee shop. Sparse vending machine distribution for beverages. Feather pillow (allergies). expensive. mattress in room 807 worn out. trash in room at check in room never made up on last day.
