Kara at desk was outstanding by still getting me the last room even though letsbookhotel.com had me registered in July. I'm glad that I took my printout. Nice and helpful front desk, better than normal freebie breakfast... waffles with berries. Room décor was log-style furniture and bed. A nice look. Great folks. Hot tub was a hit every day after we came back from the slopes. The nearby theater was a bonus for the day we took off.

Breakfast area was crowded and myself and others had to ask for napkins, etc. No one checked breakfast area while I ate unless they were asked for something. Nothing. The pillows and towel leave a lot to be desired. Both were incredibly thin. The rooms are really pretty small. Slightly unprofessional staff but very friendly. Hot tub was residential type. Bathrooms need updating. There was a mix up in our booking that was done through letsbookhotel.com - our confirmation was for the correct date - the hotel had an incorrect date. One of the rooms we booked hadn't been cleaned. Staff were able to put the family member into a clean room. A little noisy. As in most motels. There is no low table to use your laptop. I cannot type when the laptop is setting too high. I thought it was a bit of a long walk to room 124. The security is questionable as the door is left open to 11PM each day. Pillows were lumpy. Pillows were lumpy.TV channels were terrible.Coffee was like brown water.No flavour. nothing. Suggestions of where to go eat around the area. the picture of the hot tub on line and the actual hot tub differed. That was a little disappointing. Only one washing machinists. Shower water preassure, hair dryer intake vents were clogged. Not enough counter space in bathroom. Parking lot was a mess. Too far from Sandpoint. We arrived late at night and the lady at the reception was busy chatting with other guys instead of giving priority to us in order to get to our room. The bed mattress are so soft, it was not comfortable and I woke up with back-pain. Same lack of attention shown during breakfast, where milk and juice bottles were not refilled until I made them notice they were empty. Poor breakfast offered. On arrival our bathroom had to be recleaned and room vacuumed. Hot hallways. No elevator to second floor. Stay was 2 weeks and we were given the smallest room in the place. The bathroom wasn't clean, there was not a remote for the TV, coffee was cold at breakfast, house cleaning asked if I left a tip, hot tub smelled like mold. Rooms were filthy. Friends had to get a room at a different hotel. This motel is in dire need of a good clean! Our room was very dirty ~ there were no towels or toiletries whatsoever upon checking in ~ I had to go to the front desk and request them. I would not recommend this motel!. Bare bone basic. Never stayed at Guesthouse and won't stay there again. Very poor breakfast, no elevator, small rooms with little amenities. Staff not friendly and not accommodating.
