The room was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was updated, clean, very functional. Everything worked. Housekeeping was very good. It was quiet and pleasant. I couldn't hear other guests unless they were in the hall right outside my room--there was no room-to- room noise. The young man who was on the desk when I came was friendly, pleasant, efficient. The price was excellent; the room, neighborhood, and service were much better than one might expect for the price.
all reviews » It was a centralized location for all the places we wanted to go, i.e., The Oakland Zoo, San Francisco via the BART, the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield, ect., and the friends and family we wanted to see in the area. The hotel staff was friendly and willing to accommodate. Comfortable bed, comfortable room, pleasant staff, bagel/coffee place right across the parking lot. I'd stay here again. Had a nice jog around the neighborhood too. Pleasant. Really enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff! The Inn is a very comfortable place to stay. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean. Great location will still there again. Not far off the freeway. Close to Pleasant Hill shopping. Quiet area. My wife and I were very happy with the accomadations and the staff. It looked tired, though clean enough. I used the back stairs from the parking lot to go to my room on the third floor and the carpet was stained and hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The room and upstairs hall were so nice, I wonder why the lobby and stairs aren't kept up better. Not that we didn't like - construction still ongoing, but not disruptive. Pleasant Inn will be especially enjoyable once the improvements are completed. One of the light switches didn't work in the room. The main door didn't open all the way and the bathroom door wouldn't stay open. everything was perfect. Did not accept my gift card. old elevator. very poor breakfast. just only batter and tea. bad internet connection. Free continental breakfast did not start until 630am, and I left before that time in order to get into the city on time. Not very clean, ants in the room, in the coffee maker, on the bathroom counter, and ants in the breakfast room as well. Trash cans out front of hotel overflowing with trash, over all not very clean.
