Ultimate luxury and family appealing hotel for less than the price of a budget, lowest price range, bare-bones hotel by Disney. But on Disney property, with Disney buses, and in middle of those same Disney resorts! With every imaginable amenity included, tremendous staff, and utterly gorgeous palace-like facilities. The room was beautiful,big and quiet. The Starbucks Coffee center in the lobby was perfect for me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pools and the surrounding area was great. A new, beautiful, hotel. Close to Disney and not far from Sea World where our family went.
all reviews » Liked the proximity to Dis Prks, the 5 pool varieties (slide, lazy river, zero entry), express coffee bar, restaurants, lounge...very good family feel like Radisson Bloomington in Mpls where tons of friends stay near MallOfAmer, parking garage, bunk beds in room!!. I loved that it was basically a Wyndham complex where there was access to all of the pools. It was very picturesque and very conveniently located on the Disney property. The service was excellent and the shutters were always on time. Top of the line. My particular room, high floor, fantastic view, balcony, immaculately clean. Even the Deep Blue restaurant, although expensive, was a bargain compared to Disney Downtown Restaurants which were tacky and about the same price (over $100/couple). Very comfortable new hotel, close to Walt Disney world parks, beautiful pool, clean and quiet room, perfect wifi included in resort fee tax, convenient parking, great option for those traveling to Orlando to visit the parks. Great ambience, mostly family, but asa young couple we still enjoyed it. The facilities are grand, we definitely benefited from being on the Disney property. Their seafood restaurant was spectacular. Amazing food. Large sized rooms and great views from balcony. Several pool areas to relax at. Walking paths throughout the resort. Shuttle service to disney parks. Starbucks in lobby. Upon arrival, I could not get into my room until after 4:00, but checkout time was 11:00 AM (later changed to 12N; i.e. lost about 25% of one day. We had a room with an adjoining door and you could hear the guests in the other room talking until 2 am as though they were in our room, need better sound proofed door. Prices in restaurants very expensive and hotel is isolated so you have to cab or drive everywhere. Shuttle driver did not adhere to schedule and left early almost every time leaving guests behind. The $15 per day parking fee. The biggest problem was the price of their food. It was good food, but you could easily spend over $100 for lunch. The pool water in the pool next to the hotel was hot enough to be used in a bathtub. The Pirate Pool water temperature was fine and so was the lazy river. Nothing really. $16/day resort fee and $15 for parking + tax, along with food and drink at the restaurants a little pricey, but nothing out of line with the location. Would not deter me from staying here again. -The cost of food around the hotel was too expensive. Its actually cheaper to order room service for a family of four, than eat at one of the restaurants(with a 22% tax and a 3 dollars delivery fee). -The housekeeping service was good, but could be improved on. They did not replace all items used daily. I was really unhappy about paying $15 a day to self park and a $16.00 a day resort fee. I have paid one or the other at on property resorts but not both. Nothing. The tv in the room with bunks was hard to watch from the bottom bunk the blankets on the kids beds were too think there was no bedding available for the fold out couch no disney channel available onTV (seemed really odd since it's so close to disneyworld) would be nice to also offer pancakes for breakfast the after 11 pm room service menu was way too limited - could not even get a hot dog for my kids, only pizza. Shuttle times. the food was plain horrible, overpriced cafeteria food. probably the worse Burger and nachos I have ever had. The air conditioning throughout the lobby and hallways was too extreme/cold. Also,on Saturday night,there was a DJ at one of the pools. The music was obnoxious and loud!. The money you had to pay for self parking each day. I think that should be included in your room fee. Food a little overpriced. Beds were hard, but not terrible. Really nothing bad to say. I did not like the fact I had to pay for parking. Parking fees were high for valet parking Next time we will self park, it will save a little especially if you intend to leave during your stay. No instructions( I couldn't find any) for operating the radio in the room to set time on clock, etc. Nothing. They were running a special at Deep Blue but we never were told about it. Front desk should have advised us that they were running a September promotion. room needs a larger trash can. small micorwave would be nice. parking garage was not convient access from hotel. I asked for a plate and a knife and the hotel charged me $10 just to bring it to my room. Wish u had bigger slides at pool for older kuds. Not frequent enough shuttle schedules to the Disney parks. No place to get a Bloody Mary in the morning. did not clean room till 5 pm. extrs costs not quoted. everything in hotel overpriced. transportation options to disney horrendous. Not quite the resort atmosphere you would expect from the pictures. Rather impersonal atmosphere Pool rather small and crowded. Buffet breakfast quite expensive.
