Reviewed October 21, 2013 new This was an overnight stay on October 19th. We were very surprised that we were warmly welcomed by Michelle, the front desk clerk who allowed us to check in early. She offered us fresh baked cookies and was very perky, pleasant and friendly. There were bananas and apples for guests to take at the front door as well as coffee and tea anytime. The room was large and well appointed with all kinds of extras, like razors, combs, toothpaste, etc. The large flat screen TV.
all reviews » The staff was courteous and efficient. The hotel, while very dated, is clean and well-kept. You have every possible convenience at your disposal. While the location has some safety issues, the security at the hotel is first-rate. really friendly, welcoming staff, great rooms, welcome cookie at check-in, nice breakfast, free apples, many restaurants nearby, lots of bathroom-stuff (toothbrush, shaver, lotion, comb etc). A very pleasant place to stay. Great free breakfast. Very clean safe place to stay. I will stay there again. Best inexpensive hotel that I have stayed in. Staff was very friendly. Room was comfortable with the big screen tv. Wifi was easily accessible. Pillows were fantastic! Shuttle service was prompt!. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The gardens were really impressive, the rooms comfy and clean. Will definately recommend to others. Unexpectedly nice place. All clean, big room, good stuff. 24/7 free fruits and beverages. Pool water a little cool. Cover at night?. Fairly plain breakfast not many options unless you like waffles. I was led to believe when I made my reservation that the room was $55 plus tax. It turned out to be $66.11 plus tax. That wasn't the hotel's fault it was letsbookhotel.com's fault. It was misleading. The keys were a big issue specially if you were in the back like I was. the keys never work and I had to walk all the way back to the front. because of that I don't think id stay there again. Breakfast. Dingy furniture, small room. District where is hotel located. It is close to airport but surroundings seams to mee not that good. The only negative was there were a few strange guests there probably becos it was cheap. noisey, they need to invest in some decent sound proofing windows. The part I stayed in was not refurbished and needs updating. I didnt sleep because of the noise. I hate those comforters and blankets as you know they are not washed after every guest, disgusting.
