The beds were comfortable, air conditioner worked fine keeping room comfortable, continental breakfast was good. Room was clean. Front desk staff was nice. Breakfast provided. the staff was very nice I would recommend this hotel. nothing out standing just good clean room. location,staff,rooms. I had o nice stay. clean and quiet.
all reviews » everything. staff. The hotel is about five to 10 minutes away from Casino Row in Biloxi, which is great if you don't prefer the night life buzzing outside when trying to sleep. I also great up in Ocean Springs and believe the area to be safe. I like the location because it was minutes from the major attractions. The staff was very polilte and professional. Location, bottom floor, price, but next time I will spend more and get a nicer room. The rate was fair. The breakfast was o.k., but did not like the selection of muffins or the waffles. The a/c was on when I entered the room on a hot humid day. Plenty of ice for each day. Convenient location, where there are lots of restaurant around. Nothing stands out. Pool was not available. Parking was limited. could have a newer tv. breakfast was "typical"--no complaints for the price--I expected what was offered. maybe add a Hot Breakfast. had problems with door key. upgrades needed. The value for money was a bit lower than other areas in the South, but that is most likely due to the higher rates from the tourism that the casinos brings in. The amenities are few, as well. I did not like the peeling paint and dingy and dusty rooms. A table was visibly held together with glue and a metal clip. My kids counted over 30 spiders hanging from doors of the rooms. Mattress needed to be replaced (coming apart), sheets were old and thin, shower rod needed repair, lock on door damaged, hair drying coming off wall, etc. Room smelled like stale smoke, and was suppose to have been a no smoking room. It was just a place to sleep and I was there for 4 nights. There was alot of noise as far as traffic. The room was not very insulated. We could hear the people talking in the room beside us. The room smelled of chemicals which was awful. Could not open pool gate. When compared price w/Holiday Inn Express next door, I paid the same for a single as the cost for a couple and the hot breakfast was better at the Holiday Inn Express with omelets and pancakes. The receptionist is very unfriendly when we checked in, not smiling and doesnt seem wants to talk to us. Everything was absolutely disgusting! The sheets were never changed! All the "cleaning staff" did was tidy up and move our stuff around. Will never stay at a Days Inn after this one! It's a shame because I have personally stayed at other Days Inn locations that were comfortable and nice. My perception changed after this stay! Never again!.
