I was gladly surprised. It is not luxury but it is a nice, clean and comfortable place! It is right on the beach!!! It is not so close to the town center, but within a nice distance to bike. There is also a shuttle bus every 1/2 and hour at the door of the hotel that takes you to the town center. We had a great time!. We only stayed 1 night but the accommodations were great! The shuttle was right across the street to go into town! A huge factor for parade day! Will definetly book again at Blue Sea. Oh and the fact that the beach was right there was fabulous! Thank you.
all reviews » pleasantly surprised we were booked in an efficiency with great kitchen ammenities. the bed was really comfortable. our one complaint was quickly corrected (beeping smoke detector in next room). The shuttle to Provincetown another nice perk. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had one of the smaller rooms complete with a/c, fridge, cable tv, wifi & coffee pot; all that we needed for a 3-night stay. Easy access to P-town & other areas. The housekeeping was excellent. The staff was courteous and friendly. The location was convenient to Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet and our beloved Herring Cove Beach. The location and beach were excellent. There was a bus stop right across the street from the office. The staff were friendly and so were the other visitors there. I thought the staff was very friendly. Loved the room by the beachside. very comfortable. the indoor pool and hot tub was a plus. definitely will come back. Extremely friendly staff - from counter staff to maintenance. It is close to many venues and offers a shuttle service $2 pp to p-town. Rooms were spacious and we had the 2nd floor beachfront with fantastic views. Very friendly and helpful staff. The price was right and the accommodations were very good. I wanted to bring the queen size bed home. Close to beaches, P-town, Wellfleet - Staff very helpful and friendly. Attentive to any issues. That the beach was behind the motel with a incretible view of Provincetown. The private beach was amazing, beds were nice, clean room, helpful staff. Being right on the beach, 2 miles from Provincetown, reasonable rates, quite sound-proof. Accommodations were adequate close to P town and on the beach great location. Staff service was great and clean. Pool and hot tub was clean and decent !. Nice Motel in a very good position. Close to Provincetown. Taxi service to downtown was good. Able to check in early. The price was good and there is a shuttle that will take you into town. Oh, and there's this great breakfast spot toward town called "Hot L" that was perfect. This was an unscheduled stop, arriving in the dark, the room was ok, but needs updating. Was ok for 1 nights stay. It was fairly close to Provincetown and has it's own beach. Location, nice beach, on bus line. Great location Decent room. Had a little more privacy. would have liked a more comfortable chair for relaxing. We were expecting a small kitchen facility and for what we paid, we should really have had one. The water faucet ran continuously during the entire week we were there. As people who are very conservation-minded, we found this disturbing as well as wasteful. We did report it twice, but no one seemed to be able to do anything about it. Our location was close to the road and we would have liked to be closer to the beach. The room we were in was a little dated and the beds were not terribly comfortable. However, I believe they were upgrading slowly. no microwave in the room and no coffee supplies. It didn't have an iron for the ironing board. Normally this wouldn't be an issue - WIFI not available unless went to office first.. Two W-F connects - the one marked GUEST had EXCELLENT reception, but couldn't access, the other only limited access. Needed to stay "connected" but difficult to do. The door to the room was apparently "swollen" from so much rain - basically had to "shoulder" the door in and pull door handle with all strenght in two hands to get out.. !!. That it was a liter far from downtown. Bathroom was a bit rough. Cracks in tile, shower didn't work well-poor water pressure, had difficulties switching from bath faucet to shower head. Internet is poor in the room we were in. toaster was a little stubborn, but worked, seating on patio was broken. shower curtain was dirty. Bathroom had mould. the walls are a bit thin. No electric wall outlets. bathroom and shower were a bit too small. room could have a microwave. was told I had Dune view but not told this part of the hotel was across the street from the main hotel that has its own beach. -rather dated for the price for off-season travel -shower water temp was not consistent and there was no water pressure -pool hours. Not enough electrical outlets. n/a. Beach area was dirty. That the pool area is only open until 9pm as an adult on vacation with kids 19 and 20 we would do stuff all day then head back to hotel at night around 10pm. The WiFi rarely worked and very slow at best. I blew my data plan because I had to use my LTE service. The cable was bare minimal, not even CNN or ESPN. The towels were skimpy, probably feared theft. We were disappointed to be given a room across the street and also a 2nd floor room as it is difficult for me to climb stairs. Also WiFi not available in our unit which was only an inconvenience not a problem. Poor water pressure in the shower in the room, no bathroom vent, heavily chlorinated indoor pool. Tick on bathroom rug (could have been brought in from beach), gasket on frig falling off, nothing special about the rooms, no tissues or shampoo. The mattresses were cheap and squeaky the parking is very confined and The TV only received one station very disappointing. They need to update the coffee maker and bigger fridge. The beach was not good. Thank god for their pool and hot tub otherwise I would left and get another motel. They need to do something abt the seaweeds on the beach and maybe I would come back. The moquette was dirty. Shuttle did not seem to run on schedule. No thermostat for the radiator. It wasn't actually on the beach. They put all the letsbookhotel.com people in a seperate wing across the street from the main motel. Room tired, coffee pot broken and had to ask 3 times before we got a replacement. Rooms are small and dated. While I was checking in, one person was complaining of bugs in their room, I only saw mosquitoes in mine. When my wife became ill, we had to leave early, but even if they rerented the room, they would not give us any credit back at all. Dirt under the bed, not cleaned though we asked. Inconvenient outlets. Dripping faucet in BR sink. Too much 'air freshener' Poor maintenance. The parking was horrible and it was so noisy we had not one minute of peace or quiet... you should ask couples if they mind being directly below or right next door to a bunch of screaming kids and running around all night long.
