My husband and I stayed there on a whim Maggie was such gracious proprietor. She and her husband are very passionate about keeping the history of the place intact. The rooms are beautifully appointed. It's very quite and relaxing. The location is beyond perfect since it sits on Bellevue Ave which place s you half way between walks to the mansions/Cliff Walk and to the Harbor. Will be back since its so close to New Jersey. all reviews »
The hospitality of its' owner Maggie Wiggins and the friendliness of the staff make this a place to remember. The modest pricing in the dining room, the quality of the food and efficiency of the wait staff make this a five star place to stay.
A family-run little B&B near the cliff-walk and downtown is the best
way I can describe CanField. The owners took great care of us and did
everything they possibly could to make it a nice stay!.

Very close to downtown, but it is much quite and relaxing and away from all the noise. Big congrats to grandma....

I grew up in the area and had eaten in the restaurant many times and enjoyed it.
Absolutely Nothing.
There was no ceiling to the bathroom. It is literally two dry walls in
the middle of the room. It wasn't too bad, but not 100% convenient.
They should stick to food. The room was a joke! And so was the girl who checked us in. We had to wait so she could finish her PERSONAL phone call. Went down hill from there. Room was tiny with an even smaller ac unit. The shower would not stop dripping. We stayed in room 4.
