This place is huge...our room was very clean and the bed was one of the best we have slept on while traveling. The AC unit was quiet and very easy to operate. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The staff was extremely friendly, and they went out of their way to serve us! Excellent! Liked the in-room fridge and micro. Well I liked the location, the room was lovely and clean. It was quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
all reviews » Evening check in person was really nice. Maid was friendly and service was good. Nothing fancy but good value. Walk to shopping. Close to River & restaurants, pool and clean rooms. Location, quiet atmosphere, responsive and friendly staff. Proximity to area we were looking at homes to purchase. The only good thing I can say was very clean. The price The desk worker was pleasant. the room and bathroom were clean. nothing. The old style CRT TV was misadjusted and couldn't be changed. The stand alone chair in the room was broken but we didn't need it, so no big deal. The Free breakfast was very humble to say the least!. It's a little run down. The towels are very tiny and rough. Pillows are small and flat. Breakfast, well I did not take breakfast but did check it out when I was checking out. It seemed to be powdered doughnuts, pastrys etc... not much to write home about. Certainly needs a little tlc: mainly paint inside the room, caulking at base of tub, etc. Pool was out of service for almost all of our stay. Breakfast was minimal. A/C was inadequate. Towels were thin. Only thing was the alarm clock did not work. Needed it to make a meeting in am. Carpeting needs to be replaced. I noticed a hair on the bedsheet when I pulled the comforter down. Does that mean the bed linens weren't laundered after the previous lodger? hmmmm... Door to room securty. we asked for non smokeing, but opened the beds and both bed spreads had several cigarette burns on them. i told them at the office the next morning. room carpet old, hotel computer down. Clean, but property very old and run down. Bed sheets had holes, bed blanket had burn marks, carpet was very old, bathroom floor had exposed wood. room frig stopped working on the last night we stayed carpet really needs to be replaced as well as bed linen had holes in it. People being too loud all night. OLD facility- needs updating in the worst way. Very old, cheap bedding & towels. Location is in a very seedy area on US19. Beds were so-so, the were boderline soft-some broken springs-creaky. Mini fridge and heat/AC unit were very noisy. Internet was difficult to connect & disconnected often, terribly slow. Furniture/TV/room old & shabby, worn out. Even the bedding/linens had holes/worn out spots. The pool water was light green There was mold along the bathroom ceiling The contiental breakfast had little to offer. the mattress was all stained, the carpet was badly stained, especially at the doorway. There was a palmetto roach on the ceiling. The place is just old and run down. The toilet ran off and on all night long. everything!. We checked out after about 10 min.... We did not stay... Horrible.
