This hotel was the first hotel that I've stayed in that when I walked in the room it was a clean smell. The bed was comfortable, the location was in a great place, the breakfast was delicious, and the over all thing was that the hotel was clean. If I needed anything the staff was there. My fiancé and I enjoyed ourselves we are planning to stay here from now on. And Also the hotel was 10-12min. From everywhere we wanted to go. This is a great hotel.

Room was comfortable and clean. It suited our needs for an overnight stay. It's no luxury hotel for sure, but the price was much less than the surrounding hotels. Staff was very friendly, especially Poncita, always smiling and attentive the 3 times I saw her at the desk. Rooms, hallways, bathroom, lobby were all very clean. The staff was very helpful. They both listened to me and provided precise directions,which was valuable to us. the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. they went out of their way to print us directions and help us in our room with all our things. We really enjoyed the location of the hotel. Every place we needed to go to as far as food, gas, etc. was no more than 5-10 minutes away. Staff was very helpful if there was any problems with out stay. Owner is very kind and works with you if you incur any problems.. rooms were large, clean and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. Hotel was an excellent bargain we will stay there again. The only thing that keeps this hotel from being 4-5 stars is it needs a upgrade on furnishings. The night stands and chairs are old and show wear. Other then that place is great!. We did not like the beds since such a fine hotel and then skimp on comfort. Also had one of our party sleeping on the floor due to a room mix up. Husband and son had to move in a hide abed and then could not even use it for the little bitty mattress that was on it. After this for our two days we told the people on staff upon checking out. Ten dollars does not feel like a great deal of compensation for the person stuck on the floor. Corridors were very warm; not air-conditioned. I booked a smoking room and the building does not allow smoking anywhere on the premises - there are no smoking rooms at this hotel. Our room did not have a clock in it. There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. They had problems with water pressure for showers in the mornings. Did say they just took over property and its being fixed soon. Continental breakfast was a little sloooowww on refilling items but im sure it will get better since its a new start up facility. the smell of cig smoke on my floor- and the chemical they used to mask it. Need to have a smoking floor and keep them away from the nonsmokers. Train woke me up the first 2 times, then I got used to it. First time scared the heck out of me. When we arrived the smoke alarm in the room would not shut off and the person at the desk said no one was available to fix it. We had to change rooms. There was no luggage cart available to use to bring our things in and out of our room. The printer did not work at the business area. Happy hour advertised was nonexistent . The pool was down but we did not swim anyway. nothing. Breakfast could have been better... The person checking empty rooms failed to knock before opening the door. This made our stay somewhat uneasy, because we didn't know when & if this would happen again, esp. while we were asleep. We asked for a 6:30 am wakeup call that did not come as we needed to hit the road home on Easter Sunday. The train did go by several times through the night right behind the building, but it was not too much of a distraction once we were asleep. I wish there was a fenced in area outside for dogs. Also, a station that allows for clean up of dog droppings. My husband and I both stepped in dog doo during our visit. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. It said hot breakfast but it was just toast, bagels, frozen waffles and cereal. The mattress was way to soft and the pillows were too small. There was no room service and while we were there, there was a baby shower/ birthday party in the lobby and kids were everywhere, loud music and lots of noise. The ice machine did not work on my floor. They overbooked, we had to stay across street for two nights and then had too move all our stuff, back. Neighborhood is far from the best. A decent value if you have to be in this part of town however. Breakfast was lacking. Bar not open. No channel guide for tv. No phonebook in room. Nothing !. Hotel looked like it needed some TLC. Breakfast was not much. 1)Pool not operating. 2)Parking lot door nearest the pool area was never locked. We never needed our key to enter. Seemed to need one more light. The Cleaning Staff, very poor I found an open pineapple Juice can in the microwave. The beds were not made, trash not taken out, wash rag on the flr under sink. No bathmats. Did not refill reg coffee. One reg & 3 decade, the 2nd day. Did not vacuum. Breakfast set-up. It is not set-up in a flowing manner. Waffle machine was backed up and it took us awhile to all get our food. Didn't eat together. Lounge was not opened. Location, could of been in a better spot. Dated And Very Basic Amenities. imitation orange juice for breakfast, ice machine on floor was broken, TV remote had problems. A little far from downtown, but easy access to highway.
