Nags Head Inn provided a friendly, relaxing, and very comfortable setting for a beach vacation. It's location is perfect as it is the only hotel in sight nestled in between beach houses. There was a great sense of being away from the hectic nature of everyday life! One only needs to drive a short distance to civilization (shops, attractions, and restaurants. I drove over to Manteo for a stroll through the town and a bi-plane ride which was spectacular. As a single traveler this was the perfect .
all reviews » I loved the location. Several restaurants were nearby; bicycle-friendly. We felt safe running in the mornings on a hard surface bike path. The ocean was a few steps away. The Inn was very clean!! It was also not pet friendly. Pets should not be allowed in hotels. We had complimentary Kelly's sweet potatoe and country ham biscuits every morning as well as juice and coffee. It's a lovely place to stay. When we checked in the ladies were very friendly and helpful. We found our room to be very clean and room service was efficient. I enjoyed the breakfast and found the hosstess to be very pleasant. Upon check-out we received a little thank-u gift. This was a very nice token of appreciation. We will definitely return and reccommend this to others!. I came with my sister. We needed a few days away and we both enjoyed our stay at Nags Head Inn! Could we have gotten a cheaper room somewhere else? Probably...but who cares! Right on the beach at Nags Head. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, and had a refrigerator, a microwave, and coffee maker. They gave me a very yummy box of kettle corn when I checked out. I would definitely come back here if I ever return to the obx. My wife and I had a great experience at the Nags Head Inn and would highly recommend it. The location was PERFECT (beachfront and close to restaurants etc.), and the hotel was very clean. It was a great value for our money and we plan to return in the future. I liked the sweet potato biscuits that were complimentary. Also the list of recommended restaurants. (but I did not see this until we were leaving). We were fortunate enough to eat at 2 of the restaurants they recommended by chance. We liked the pool, the room was very comfortable, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Very good price for the in season. And comfortable beds!. The view was great. We wanted ocean front balcony and that was perfect. The bed also was very comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was excellent!!. perfect location to do just about anything......this place was just perfect. that you got a box of kettle corn for your trip home... very thoughtful. There was an outdoor deck with lounge chairs that was perfect for tanning when the wind was blowing too hard to be on the beach. I have no dislikes. Period!. It was a bit pricey - I paid over $200 for a single person, one night. It was high season and I did book just the night before. Honestly, it was a great all-around experience. No complaints. The walk to the beach. I love when I can walk out of the room onto the beach. But, when we return to Outer Banks, we will stay at Nags Head Inn. We only stayed one night and had no problems or complaints. Needed more of a variety for breakfast. The sweet potato biscuits were good, but other choices would have been nice too. nothing........ price. Very poor quality breakfast muffins and overall continental breakfast. I did not like when I checked in I did not have an ocean view room. I had to pay regular price to upgrade because I booked through booking com when local discounts were available. I will book again but only through the hotel it's self. Breakfast. Breakfast needs help!. Had a couple problems but they fixed them a/c died and back up shower. All other places we stayed offered a full breakfast included. Nags Head had a suite with beverages and pastries only. Breakfast was disappointing. They need to do more. Real pastries would help. Cereal choice and waffles. Bagles etc. doesn't need to be over the top. But come on. Some real choices and the sweet potato biscuits don't cut it. Too much money for just one outstanding feature. No frills or real breakfast. The breakfasts were lousy, especially for the price of the rooms.
