I enjoyed the interior design of the room and the recessed lighting really impressed me because it was actually throughout the complete suite. Some other features I liked about the King Deluxe Suite was the fireplace as well as dimming capable lights in the living room area. The full kitchen provided everything I needed to make breakfast and a late snack which was very helpful. I was just completely impressed once again with letsbookhotel.com! This room was very affordable and defiantly a great.
all reviews » The staff was very friendly, I had a few questions and they were very helpful !!!!! Except for the Micro fire, everything was good !!! [ not our fault,] bad Element . They changed micro in morning . Good thing I was about 4 feet away when it went "Poof" or there would have been a possible serious Fire. I am a fire fighter in my home town. I would possibly upgrade the balcony furniture in the suites. 1. Only one elevator - long wait 2. Difficulty getting through 2 doors from front desk area to the elevator. In our room, the phone didn't work. We tried everything and couldn't get the fireplace to work. I like more of a resort type feel when vacation with amenities such as bar/cafe, mini mart, lazy river, and more thing for the kids. The suite was nice but the hotel itself was somewhat basic. Did not feel very secure in the room with only one lock on the door. The first night we put the dresser-drawer behind the door. The sliding glass door did not lock and appear to have been tampered with. Needs to offer breakfast or at least supply the room with coffee. Everyone was friendly except the guy who checked us in around 5:30p and with whom we had to interact on 2nd shift. He never smiled and it was not pleasant to communicate with him. The Meridian did not have a fitness center, which was disappointing. The parking deck was across the street. It was dangerous having to cross N Ocean Blvd. A little run down ,all tile no carpet. Room needed updates. Ceiling pieces fell in my bag. Bar broke,. Did not feel we received our moneys worth. What we expected from the pictures was not close to what we received. Very dissapointed!.
