This was a return visit for us. The room was perfect, with a view of the ocean and bay. Well build motel so the halls and other room noise was minimal. Nice to open the doors for a lovely breeze to come through. Great location to Newport and southern beaches as well as the outlet mall for shopping. Easy walk to beach, groceries and restaurants. The staff was more than friendly, we felt they really did care about us staying there. Everything I requested was provided for us, the manager was more .
all reviews » Excellent location, great views with beach front. Rooms were spacious and clean. Friendly staff. Room came with a microwave and a nice size fridge. Had a table and chairs (with wheels) so it was easy to enjoy a snack or meal while enjoying the view. Our room had a small balcony which we very much liked. Not all rooms have that, but all have views. Easy to walk around in historic area and close to many small craft shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. Really nice Historical Museum nearby, too. We totally enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bright and the view fantastic. The fact that it is so convenient to everywhere was an extra. We are already planning our trip for next year. I would truly recommend this as a place to stay. I wasn't sure that I was getting a room without a balcony, and I asked the manager if she had a room available with one. I explained to her that my girlfriend and I were on our first trip together, and she upgraded us to a king sweet... for no extra cost. Loved the room! Thank you!. the service was outstanding..with a very special shout out to Linda. She made our family's mini vacation one to always remember...She made all my boys feel like honored quests. Which is no easy task since my boys are 29 13 and g.son 6. We were just passing through and didn't spend much time at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and overlooking the bay. We look forward to staying here again, hopefully for a bit longer next time. No better place to stay to see the beach and all of the wildlife;sea lions, pelicans, seagulls, fish, seals, sunset, ocean waves, lots of sand and driftwood. Hot waffles seemed to be a hit with kids.. Not a negative comment!. Nothing. well the continential breakfast left alot to be desired. No fresh fruit nor protein (i.e. meat, eggs). Just coffee, juice, waffles,plain bagels and cold cereal. Your prices were misleading! The offer was 4 nights for the price of three. When we got there we found out that it was only $69 a night and they did not have us booked for the last night?. Most hotel, motels in Lincoln city I can't get to the beach.. Just ocean view. I like to walk on the beach. Absolutely no where to eat a good meal... Miss good restruants.. Don't suggest the casino, because I don't gamble and I am not eating there. The only thing I didn't like was the pillows, but not really a big deal. The beds were a bit hard, not firm. Nothing. Parking was cramped. The wifi was not working. Was given a password that didn't work. We couldn't get the spa to turn on and it needs updating. The breakfast is ok but could be improved by adding fruit and more tables. It was very crowded and could easily be improved upon. Screen door and slider to the balcony was broken and not working right. No a thing. I didn't like that it says that dvd players are in every room as they are not and you have to ask for them at the counter. I didn't like that my check out time on my reservation said noon, but the actually check out time was 11:00. I didn't like the angle of the extra parking as my car scraped the whole underneath of my car when I came down it. N/A. Instead of a pool they had a large spa.but that was Ok because we were right on the beach and the kids could play in the Bay water. The bed was kind of hard, but it didn't stop me from a long, restful sleep. Nothing. When we went to our room upon check in it still wasn't ready. But was quick and apologetic so it worked out. Poor parking and the breakfast could have had better selectons. Someone took a full bottle of wine out of our refrigerator! Who? It was put in the fridge immediately on arriving and when we went to open the bottle it was gone! Maid, someone walking down the hall when the door was open?? In any case it was gone when we went to open it. Nothing else was missing. No AC and room was warm and stuffy. but, it was hottest day of the summer, too. The beds were not very comfortable. The only thing was the mattresses were hard. We did not like the fact that the sheets did NOT fit the mattress and I woke up laying on the mattress itself:(:(. I didn't like that we did not have a balcony. Elavator was broken down. We had bad TV cable reception in our room. Bottom sheet on my bed was a flat sheet and kept slipping. our check in was 3pm but the lady was cleaning until 430pm.. we had a very tired and crabby 3 yr old by the time we got into our room and settled. the next morning the elevator wasn't working either.. stayed on the fourth floor.. Parking...have a truck and could barely fit...not many spaces and all very small. Cobwebs and a bit dirty.
