The location is very convenient - close to the beach, and though we didn't take advantage, to shopping. Check-in and check-out were both very pleasant, thanks to the cheerful and friendly desk clerk, who let us check in early so I could attend a meeting. The housekeepers were friendly and accommodating, asking if we needed an extra blanket providing it quickly when we said yes. We were given an "Evergreen" room, and though not sure what all that entails, the filtration system for drinking water.
all reviews » Booked two nights in a stgandard room, on line. Arrived in late evening, room was ready, clean and neat. After about 1/2 hour, tv stopped working. Called desk, adn they sent someone up in just five minutes. He was unable to fix tv, so they said they would need to move us to another room. They actually upgraded us to a room with king size bed, couch, two cushion chairs. Excellent service and very accomadating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was just what we were looking for but still got value for our dollar. The young gal at the front desk recommended a local restuarant dinner special that she got no benefit from but the food was awesome and the value was great. It is this kind of above and beyond service that will make us return to this facility. Room was nicely furnished, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere quiet. We had a pleasant stay. The hotel was very clean, and parking was convenient. This hotel is also not very large - which adds to the quiet atmosphere - which was very nice. We would happily stay here again. My 95 yr. old mother and I travel down the coast. Our stay was very nice. We arrived to the breakfast room late ( after 9) and the lovely lady that ran the desk was so very nice to accommodate with waffles for breakfast. We would definitely recommend your motel to friends. I travel frequently for business (budget lodging) and this motel had the BEST bed I've ever experienced in this price range. I stayed in one of the 'Evergreen' rooms. This motel is typical for the price range. But I`d definitely recommend it for the budget traveler. The staff member at night when I checked in actually knew I had a reservation and when I entered, he asked me if I was .....? The room was a nice size and very clean. I had 3 pillows! The owner/manager was very nice and accommodating. The hotel was very clean, our room was big and comfortable and even stylish looking. Free big parking lot! Free internet! The staff was friendly. The spa/sauna area was clean and we enjoyed having access to a hot tub and sauna. Friendly amazing staff. Corey was great talking to her on the phone & upon arrival very friendly. Our room was great perfect size comfy n cozy for just the 2 of us. Overall experience rated a 10!. We often need to arrive late, and the reception is always friendly even at the late hours. They even have a luggage cart we can use to transport things from the car to the room. Friendly service, great price, clean room, mini fridge and microwave, water filtration system throughout the hotel, comfy beds, free wi-if. Overall a GREAT stay!. Clean basic hotel. Breakfast is waffle and cereal. Frendly and informative staff. Mexican restaurant down the street is good option for dinner. They arranged to clean my room so I could check in early. Our stay at this America's Best in was quiet and comfortable. That means a lot to us since we live in a loud place. It's a good place to stay while embarking on exploring the beautiful coastline of Oregon. The hotel was very clean and suprisingly comfortable for a budget hotel. that it had a wifi, cable tv, coffee maker, microwave, and tiny fridge. Our room overlooking the parking lot was a bit noisy, when other guests gathered outside at night and, later, when a car alarm went off for several minutes. Neither is a commentary on the accommodations, as this can happen anywhere. Continental breakfast only served from 7am to 9am. My wife said the mattress (we had a single queen bed room) was a bit too firm for her liking, but I thought it was just fine. I do prefer a firmer mattress than she does, though. Rear entry door was not locked, so I didn't feel very safe going in alone at night to the upstairs room. There is a security camera on the floor but not in the entry or stairwell. Pool/spa hours 10am-10pm, but check out is 11am. No time for an early morning swim. The continental breakfast items weren't very good. The waffle mix was not tasty, the owner/manager insisted on cooking the waffle for me and then the waffle wasn' done all the way in the middle which leads me to believe they are not using the right mix. I threw it away, had a bagel which was almost too hard. The bananas were mushy so I threw that away too after taking a few bites. I realize continentals are just that, however, I do expect the food to be fresh and tasty. The breakfast was meager and uninspiring... We weren't allowed to make our own waffels, which I thought was weird.... (In other hotels you can...) Not within walking distance of the beach. The spa area was reaaaallly small and it felt awkward with other guest. The sauna took ages to heat up, I wished it had just been on. Not a thing. that I couldn't stay longer. Nothing. A little expensive, but not outrageous. Mattress is hard, found hairs in bed sheets & bathroom, breakfast room crowded & food was basic not enough to eat. The bed is kind of worn out. Others are good!. Would like non paper cups for coffee, tea but it was a free continental breakfast, much appreciated. other local hotels have no charge for DVD's and that i think is wrong to charge to rent them. after i rented some movies . the remote was missing ,it was a struggle, but we managed. Only one ice machine (but just a nit, it is a small hotel). no pets allowed to have breakfast extended to 10am. The bed was very basic and not overly comfortable. Back door did not open with key. Breakfast nook was tiny and we arrived after 9:00 am so there was not much choice in food. side parking was a little tight. Would suggest whole milk & 1/2&1/2 for coffee for breakfast. Could have used a computer with internet, perhaps in lobby or.. I did not bring my laptop this time. Nothing. No complaints. no elevator. Spa strange access. Small pillows,not much amenities. no elevator. lacking breakfast items. Nothing. No dislikes. Receptionist's English was hard to understand had misunderstanding. Breakfast could last alittle longer. Breakfast was not very good.
