The manager and staff at the desk ( Taylor) were great!! Everyone made you feel right at home! Very clean facility, hot tub wAs nice & hot, breakfast was great & they honored our free breakfast vouchers! Will be back to stay!!. Front desk staff very helpful in changing rooms for us as the fan in the heating/cooling system was squeeky and loud. We would not have been able to sleep!.
all reviews » How close it was to KU but especially because had full service restaurant and bar on site. Quiet rooms. Pool area was fun and creative. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly. close to KU campus clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Location. We were able to get a new room and they did send maintenance to fix our door. The breakfast option was ok. Proximity to major highway. No coments. Everything was great!. They honored our breakfast vouchers. We had the same waitress for breakfast both mornings of our stay. She was one of the best servers we have ever encountered. Very nice young woman!. Price. Too expensive. The buffet was awful!!! Not enough variety, and pancakes dried out and hard. Sausage hard. Salt shakers ,we tried 6, were clogged, so eggs were bland. The lemonade tasted like a powder drink, yuck Very disappointed in breakfast. bad pillows workout rooms hot and needs weights bathroom needed some remodeling. The pillows were absolutely horrible. Lumpy. The bar being open or closed is dependent on how many people are in the bar so you don't know when you come bakc to hotel if you can get a beer or not. I just discovered that they charged me twice for my stay. When we first checked in our room smelled terribly like smoke. Our bathroom door needed wd40 badly. Our shower did not drain properly. The beds were not comfortable. The tv had a horrible picture. It was definatly not worth $160 per night. Could have stayed at the Marriott downtown for this price. advertised room wasnt available, after driving 9 hours replacement room keys didnt work, no convenience for weary travelers waiting an hour for service person and repeated visits to front desk, hotel refused replacement room. Room needs maintanence dirty carpet also I was told that breakfast was serve from 6am to 10am and I went two times at 6:45 am and no staff was attending or serving breakfast I had to go and have breakfast at a near by mcdonal's.
