Right on the lake! Gorgeous! Very nice room (better than the pictures looked online) with kitchenette (plates, bowls, colander, pans, mugs, plastic cups, utensils, no measuring cups/spoons), 2 burner stove & microwave. Very clean and quiet (older building= better construction). Rite Aid across the street, Safeway less than a block away. Great beach front property. Lots of food/dining options. Close to lots of fun. Would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to Tahoe.
all reviews » Once again we stayed at the Ferrari Crown....this is our 5th time!! This time we splurged for a lake side room !! Wow !! What a great idea !! We walked in the room and Imeaditally turned around and rushed back to the front office to book another night !! We had a great time !! The staff is always awesome .. Even Becky remembered us from our last stay !! She always has a smile on her face and treats us like we are the only guests here !!!. Fantastic location & view Right on Lake Tahoe with lovely, sandy private beach Mountain & lake view from room! Two dry cereals, instant oatmeal, plain bagels and English muffins, cinamon raisin bread, yogurt, oj and apple juice. Could use some fruit, hard boiled eggs or something. However, it was very well managed by friendly, attentive young ladies. The outdoor hot tub was a bit dingy but the pools were nice. Wifi a bit tempermental (but functional with persistence.). That our stay was over !!! This is an old hotel they do their best to keep it spotless.... So if you fancy pansy...keep moving on. To the fancy side of the Lake.... DO NOT CHANGE !! WE LOVE IT HERE !!!. older buildings (but well kept) smaller bathroom old, cheesy-looking street signage. No negatives, it was all good. From someone who normally travels in Europe, the 'continental breakfast' was a bit sparse, but there was nothing to prevent you from making the most of what was available. The coffee is awful, but it's more a problem of the whole USA rather than this particular hotel.. Luckily, you can have awesome coffee at I.V. Coffee Lab at Incline!. Beds were clean but too firm. Half hour time limit on indoor hot-tub reservation. Having to leave!. The furniture was very cheap. The beds were on wheels so they moved too easy. There was no carpet just linoleum. Which would is good for winter time since it snows there. The continential breakfast was ok. The last day of our stay went to breakfast at 8:45am and there was only english muffins left and no milk to drink and the orange juice was very bitter. The workmen or maintenance workers tended to be a bit loud but still very courteous. Our room had no air conditioning on second floor during heat wave. Uncomfortably warm. They need to be more careful about the cleaning. The towels and the sheets had long black hairs. I guess it was the problem of the staff who cleans them. Poor breakfast, small room, noisy aircon, generally a bit run down. The Californians have destroyed the Tahoe shore with development - go to the Nevada side. Room was small and in need of updating. Upon check in I was told our room was one driveway over; I was not told it was a motel with a different name that they had purchased; so we thought we were at the wrong place and had to find someone to explain that it was indeed the right place. Also, the beds were SO UNCOMFORTABLE that I will never go there again! The worst I've ever experienced. We hardly slept, they were that bad.
