My husband and I had a four night stay here with our two teenage girls, and loved it. The staff were all great especially Brian (Irish), on the front desk, he gave us such a warm welcome, made us feel special. The room was fantastic, with view of marina. Fantastic position, very near Duval street and walked everywhere. Although so close to all the action, the hotel was quiet. Would definitely recommend a stay here, loved it all.

We stayed at this Westin because it is so convenient to the area of Key West that has most of the attractions, shopping, etc. It overlooks the water and is immediately adjacent to Mallory Square where everyone gathers to watch the sunset. We probably could have seen it from our balcony if not for just enough clouds to obscure just the sun each day. Excellent hotel, location and facility with the added attraction of there own 20 couple private island. Just a 10 minute boat ride away to get away. Would fully recommend, very clean and tasteful. All in all an excellent choice for a winter break. I would say honestly this has to be the best hotel on Key West. The pool, the island, the beds, the space, the free water and orange juice, the ferry service (frequency and staff), the whole experience was very special. letsbookhotel.com did a wonderful job with the reservations and finding rooms. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give the whole experience a 20!!. This hotel was well situated with easy walking access to all restaurants and shopping. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool was a good size and the gym had well maintained machines and free weighs. Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, mitten im Zentrum und doch ruhig. Amy, guest services manager saved the day, she was very professional, gave us a suite & sent up wine & strawberries for our anniversary. Our waiter was also very good. The food was excellent. The pool and deck area was my highlight. I spent a lot of time relaxing there in the sun. The location to Key Wests downtown area is excellent. Perfect located hotel, Pet friendly with great stuff and design. We got free upgrade for a better room and our chihuahuas heavenly pillow. Love this place!. There not all on Duval Street. I can not think of one single thing to say negative about the Westin experience. Paid extra for partial ocean views but the only partial view tone had was on the balcony. So disappointing. There was a horrible dank smell in the stairway and corridors. The receptionist that started to deal with us, stopped to talk to someone, made a phone call & walked away half way through telling a young lad in training to take over. Not very professional. checking out took over 30 mins with us recieving several invoices of differing amounts before we worked out what it should be!. I didn't spend enough time there.... I want to bring my family next time. Everything was perfect. But I'm sure that next time will try another hotel. Smaller one. Bathroom was very small considering the size of the suite but that can't be helped. Be quick for the beach passes - they only have a small limit each day. As with many established places the carpets and some other things could be updated. It's too nice a place to be allowed to look grungy. did not like breakfast, the cat man EVERY NIGHT in the way at sunset. The pool was too warm. Parking was pricey. Leaving. nothing. I didn't have any. Having cruise ship outside our patio obstructed our view. The beds are very very uncomfortable. The air conditioner is extremely noisy, and kept me up a couple of nights. We were upgraded to a ocean front from a partial ocean view, which would have been great, except our ocean view was really the view of a cruise ship a lot of the time, and the trees are too high, and block a lot of the view. cruise ships. The cruise ships parking right in front of our room!. Slow internet. Our room was right next to the elevators and we heard grinding of the gears al day and night, we could be moved but for a $60 a night upgrade. For off season I thought it was a little pricey, we had no alarm clock, our room phone did not work, and we had no table and chairs to sit at. They did fix that on request but the noise from the elevators was unbearable and we did not feel we should have to pay the extra $180 for 3 nights upgrade to get away from it. Had to leave. There wasn't an option for complimentary breakfast, other than that it was a great place. We did not like the demeanor of the valet attendant. He was rather rude in three instances, all because we chose to unload and park our own car. He should not be the first person guests encounter at your otherwise lovely hotel. The cruise ships blocked the sunset. My wife loved them though. The tp holder dropped the paper because there seems to be part of it missing. I think every room needs to have some handicap bars installed especially near the toilet and in the shower. Price Paying for parking No Cellphone service in room. Nothing Everything was very pleasant. I didn't think they should charge for parking if you are staying at the hotel. The air con in the room was very loud, I didn't like the music at the pool. I would've enjoyed a better view. Did not like pool view at all. Did not like being in separate buildings after check in. That we did nt stay longer. Nothing. Nothing not to like. I had to say good bye. Mold in shower!!. Cost way to much. quelques problèmes d'isolation phonique. the view of the cruise ship and how small the room was.
