The Knowles house is on Eaton St, just a couple of blocks up from the waterfront and a short walk to Duval St. And Mallory Square. The location was perfect. They do not have their own parking lot but the owners, Les and Paul, will point you to free on-street parking, so that was no issue at all. The house itself is lovely and well maintained. The building is an L shape, partially surrounding a courtyard with a covered seating area (where breakfast is served), a very small pool and a hot tub. Of.
all reviews » This place is awesome!! Just a few blocks from where KW Express docks. From the moment we entered we were greated by Christina, who is the bomb! She and Magda took care of EVERYTHING we needed. Had the perfect room right next to the pool and outside shower. Breakfast was great. Magda even went out of her way and made my friend a weaker pot of coffee (with a warning "Very weak coffee")! Will (and already have) recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I loved the coziness of the back terrace, pool and hot tub. It felt like a private oasis! I loved that it was a 5 minute walk to the marina and restaurants there, and only about 8 minute walk to Duval Street - close enough to walk but far enough away that it was noisy. I also really liked the staff who really made it feel like a home away from home!. Christina was very personable and helpful from the moment we arrived. She gave us suggestions for using the bus to get around town, parking, along with helping us with our luggage. We loved the location, within walking distance of so many things. We wished we could have stayed longer than the 1 night we had booked and will stay here again. We had a fantastic stay here. The people are wonderful and they treat you like family. The beds are amazing, Tempurpedic mattresses are amazing! Breakfast was great and the folks there are very knowledgeable about the awesome city of Key West! I would recommend this place for anyone!. We very much enjoyed our stay in Key West and the accomdations where very adequate. Rooms were small but we did stay at the bed&breadfast much. The other guests were all friendly and accomodating as was the staff. Answered question without hesitation. Just a very pleasant stay. Les and Paul were incredibly accomodating! The outdoor breakfast/relaxation area was adorable. The house is perfectly situated near trendy neighborhood restaurants, Duval st. and the Boardwalk. We loved our sweet, romantic room outfitted with a Swedish foam bed and private bath. Small and friendly B&B. Location was good. Owners and staff are friendly and ensured that your stay was as enjoyable as possible. They are knowledgeable about the island and its attractions. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and relaxing. Les and Paul are "GREAT" hosts. They are full of info about Key West. There home is your home when you stay with them. Comfortable beds, nice and clean room; good tasteful light breakfast, great location to eating establishments, sites and shops, and friendly staff. No car required to see Key West, you can walk, rent bikes, mopeds or golf carts. Friendly straff, great location, much cleaner than a hotel, TEMPERPEDIC QUEEN BEDS. Not a bad word to say about the place. WILL stay there again next time I visit Key West. Staff and housekeeper's (Christine) friendliness and help - I arrived late at night and everything was prepared - from the key to a complimentary glass of red wine! Super!. Parking is tough in that area, but we managed. That I had to leave and go back to 35 degrees in Michigan !!! I had no complaints. Noise from the street and parking was two blocks away. They only have 2 parking spaces for loading and unloading; however, we knew in advance about the parking. Didn't need a car to see the sites, just walk or rent bikes/mopeds. Parking around town was not easy to find and if you did the price was expensive. I did not like the fact that I had to leave! Lol. Wish it was closer to the Square. We seemed to spend alot of time walking back at forth from our B&B and the Square. The only down side was the small pool. However, even though it was small it was still beautiful and clean and served its purpose :). Pool too small. A little more expensive than comparable accommodation elsewhere but perhaps Key West is more expensive overall. Small room, but we knew that and didn't spend much time in it...a/c was somewhat noisy. parking - lots of locals hate turists cars. Front rooms were small for us and a bit noisy...wish we had requested a back room. having to leave. parking. Road noise, small room. I could'nt stay longer.
