The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, obviously quite competent and a good representative of the facility. My wife and I would return there if we are staying in the area. I often travel to Johnstown on business and sometimes it's 4am or later when I'm done for the day. The staff at Super 8 is always on duty and ready to serve. It was so clean! I personally found the maids an gave them each a tip! God Bless them!.

Didn't like anything. It's all good. We got a nonsmoking room, however it had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, being non-smokers, this was unpleasant , we opened the windows and spayed Lysol ,. Nothing. The hotel owner seemed very sexist. I checked in while my boyfriend waited outside, and every time I asked for something, I got a "sweetheart" or "dear". When my boyfriend asked for something as simple as change for $2.00, he was given a hard time. The walls seem to be a bit thin as we heard the floor above us all night long. The breakfast was sparse it would've been good to have a little bit more. The only hot item was make your own waffles. Breakfast room could be crowded, not big enough to hold many guests. Only 4 tables of 4. Nothing. Bed was very uncomfortable. The first night I stayed in room 208 and the bed was entirely too soft. The second night in room 206 the recliner chair was broken to the point of dangerous. Both rooms were adequately clean, but the elevator, and all common areas seemed to be in desperate need of a good cleaning. Dirty shower and towels. Threatening signs in bathroom about guests being charged for "missing" towels. Broken coffee maker. The charge for the room was steep considering the level of hotel and location. I didn't like being woken up to screaming and banging in the room next door. I booked this hotel because of the hot tub that was advertized- there is no hot tub. I had booked two rooms and was very upset about the entire experience!!. Dark and shabby room. Motel is in real need of renovation. Breakfast buffet was picked over by 7:15, little left and breakfast area needed cleaning. Room was to be nonsmoking and it was obvious that it had just been converted because it reeked of smoke. My asthma acted up and I had to use my inhaler. The first room I had was fine but the second a king room was the one. On Saturday the breakfast was bad. Food was leftovers from week and stale. Hated everything about it. Very bad room, and service.
