Can't say enough about the room(s) available through Dharma Home Suites. We relocated to NJ/NYC two months ago and have stayed with Dharma until our home is ready. They have exceeded all expectations. Top of the line buildings at 50 Columbus and 70 Greene and fry superior rooms and furnishings than the others we have stayed in at the same locations. Ally and her team are excellent and beyond accommodating. They are kind and very friendly. We stayed with other companies who are doing the same thi.
all reviews » First of all an excellent view to Manhattan. Short walk to the Path-train, taking you to Manhattan. The travel distance was short, and it was actually relaxing coming back to Jersey City in the evening after a crowded and hectic day in NYC. The flat (one bedroom) was large enough for the four of us (two girls 12 & 16) and the beds in the livingroom were comfortable. No complaints! Also a nice mall in Newport for quiet shopping. We spent 10 days, but for a shorter weekend and only two adults. Upon arrival we were 3 hrs early but the staff were only to happy to store our luggage until check in. Which allowed us to go in to NY city, bonus!. We found the rooms and the view excellent and well worth the rate we paid. Also with the kitchenette we were able to Cook our own meals some days which saved us time and money. Overall a really great experience and we would not hesitate to book another stay there Thank you Maihi and Kellie. Melbourne , Australia. The location is excellent, with an appartment on the 41st floor, with fantastic view on the Statue of Liberty... I couldn't have woken up better then this. Access to ny city is easy via the path train. The hotel is in a nice and quiet neighbourhood, strange to be so close to Manhattan... There is a supermarket arround the corner that has everything and is open till 2200. The kitchen in the appartment is very nice equiped ( even with washing machine and dryer ). An extremely quiet but very friendly area, perfect distance to the trains to nyc, surrounded by delicious restaurants to chose from (Amazing sushi, breakfast bistros, Iron Monkey pub, etc) and such wonderful staff. Most of all though? The view from the bedroom was outstanding, to awake to sunshine in 2 walls of windows overlooking Lady Liberty was worth every penny in itself. The view was amazing, we could see the statue of liberty and downtown Manhattan. The apartment was spacious, bright, well equipped and felt like a home away from all the city buzz. The area had a nice atmosphere and nice restaurants. The supermarket under the building was fine and there was a starbucks on your way to PATH. Very good location, few minutes to Path station, one stop to WTC or half hour to mid town Manhattan (can use MTC). Quiet residence while also convenient grocery market downstairs. Can enjoy nice view of Manhattan on the other side of Hudson river. Good choice to tourists to NYC who also want to enjoy quiet night time. Perfect location for a trip to Manhattan, path train to wtc is just a view blocks away affordable stay compared to Manhattan nice and cheap restaurants in the evening around the Appartments supermarket available just 1 block away very good view from 44th Floor to Manhattan over the Hudson river. A fantastic Place to stay for a New York trip. Only a Three minutes Subway drive from Down town Manhatten. a stunning view over Manhatten and Hudson River. a Nice and quiet neighbourhood. The facilities on the hotel such as the rooms, fitnesscenter and pool area was top class!. Great views over Jersey City easy access to transport to NYC. The local area very smart and safe. Getting there by car proved easy.Studio was spacious for two much better value and space than hotels in NYC .Would book this again and recomend for a stay to vist NYC. Would recommend this appartment if you like to stay outside but nearby Manhattan. Large and clean apartment with fantastic view from bedroom and living room. Kitchen was complete with oven, microwave etcetc. Quiet and safe area just 10 min with train to WTC. The kitchen facilities, just having a coffee maker was great. Also there is a wonderful little grocery store with fresh baked goods, prepared foods, fruit, vegetables, etc. Location was ideal, with a surprising view overlooking the State Liberty. I also appreciate details like a washer and dryer in the apartment and a drip coffee machine. The aparment is beautiful , clean has a wonderful view it's very comfortable and my friends my wife and me had a great time we really enjoy visit to USA. The view from the apartment was amazing! I like the fact though that the Dharma representative moved swiftly to rectify the situation of the assigned apartment by moving us up to an apartment on the 38th floor. That apartment was much bigger even though it was still a one bed apartment and suited a family of 4 much better compared to the original one. Once in our new apartment we were generally very happy and comfortable, thanks especially to the representative (sorry don't remember her nam. The apartrment was nice an clean with nice water front view. Location,Kitchen & Views. Clean . good location. the view and the room so nice very safe miss johan was nice and helpful (apratment manger). Nothing really. We paid 90 dollars for a van arranged by the hotel, to pick us up in Newark airport. The path train would have been a lot cheaper solution. Parking wasn't included, but there was associated parking in the building with zero discount for the rate. If you wanted to go in and out with a car you would have to pay everytime (so we kept the car parked) and then, we left on a Sunday after 4 days, paid the full $60+ price, and discovered on Sunday's the gate is up so we could have just left. (Ethically we felt better having paid) Very easy to get around without a car, however parking it was a financial frustration. You could tell the doorman was not committed to these apartments. They weren't unfriendly, just not very welcoming. The PATH-line took more time in the weekends than we would have liked. not king size bed in our suites. Some of the receptionists were not very serviceminded. one member of staff at appartment offices very rude. Not Dharma home suite staff who were good on arrival. No kettle in appartment. Wish there was a tv in the bedroom. We missed clothes hangers in the cabinets and a coatstand. No negatives. I couldn't use the pool or the wonderful out door 'kitchen'. Would have been fun to grill some steaks. Nothing. It was flawless. Nothing. Only one small thing: there was no screw to open bottles of wine !. Apartment wasn't properly cleaned. A lot of hairs in bath and bathroom floor. Checkin was very poorly. -Lack of equipment in kitchen. We rented an apt so we wouldn't have to go out. There were no dishes for the oven, no corkscrew or beer bottle opener (pretty basic stuff for a kitchen) -Most hotels in US have at least a queen bed and typically a king size. The double beds were small -Only one key was given for 4 adults. Rude girl on reception when I had driven 9 hours to get there!. I stayed for 3 days and were charged additional fee for cleaning, but I didn't see the room were cleaned during my staying in the hotel!. The additionnal fees for the parking. The shower curtain was moldy and smelly. It needs to be replaced. More towels would have been nice. A roll of paper towel for the kitchen would have been nice as well. nothing I can think of. Entry door to unit hard to open. However, I didn't like the fact that I didn't get a room overlooking the Hudson River itself. As a family of 4 I also didn't like the fact that initially I was placed on the 24th floor in what must've been the smallest available one bedroom apartment. That first impression was a very bad one considering what we paid. They could also do with changing the bed in the bedroom as we kept banging our legs up against it as it sticks out a bit too far. Very bad bulding managment as they say paking allowe in the blue lines marke an then they foo your car an charge you $150 to release it. Daharma rental office is the wosret that you can eal with.They are not hoset and they charge you more than what inicate in the original rate I do not recommend for any one to go through them. Sofa bed was a futon,No chairs to sit in other then the chairs from the dinette.No tv in the bed room. No help with luggage . loction far from time square there is some fee and extra charge like wise person services should will clear and at top.
