The rooms and showers are very clean. The towels were very soft, unlike motel 6, they haven't been over washed. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were the perfect softness. Teresa and Marty were very hospitable, informative and helpful to a tired biker. The owner was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Cost was awesome. Very clean. It is a no-frills place, but perfect if you need a clean room, a comfortable bed and affordable.
all reviews » Great deal. Breakfast was bagels, frozen waffles, pastries, and bananas. We were sufficiently cool at night and had hot water for all our showers. Walking distance to restaurants and bike shop. Owner makes you feel at home. Nice continental breakfast. Reasonably quiet. Very close to I-70. Close to Chinese Restaurant. A clean dog friendly hotel with a large park across the street. King bed was huge. I would stay there again. They were very accommodating and eager to please even with a small breakfast area. I liked that the H Motel was within walking distance to main street where all the shops were. It also had a fairly decent contential breakfast and was dog friendly. I liked the room other than the heating situation. The room was clean. Not your fault or theirs but the address point is misplaced with Garmin gps. People smoking next door. Room was a little cramped and water took a little to get hot. Drive through liquor store, which is next to the motel gets a lot of activity and can be noises at times. nothing we can think of. No recycling A little bit noisy (next to a somewhat busy road) - not too bad though. We didn't like the way the heating & cooling system worked. (Room stayed pretty cool until outside temp dropped. No heat was available to heat up room in morning) This would most likely be only a problem during season change times. Also breakfast was definitely continental very limited. It was in the really small office area so waiting for a bagel to toast was very crowded if more than 2 people were there (get food go back to room, no dining area). The rooms were really small and not entirely conducive for traveling with friends as it only had one bed. the heating was controlled by the management and i don't think that is right when it was 37 degrees outside and they turn the heat on in the evening.Too cold to take a shower in the morning. NO smoking Rooms !!!. Air conditioning didn't work great, no pool. There was not any heat and also the room stunk had to keep the door open for awhile to air out the room. I booked this room because of the reviews I had read but they must have been old. I am totally embarrassed because I had booked a oom for someone else also they told me there was a lot nicer hotels practically across the street.
