I had a very spacious suite. I was very surprised. It had a nice balcony. The weather was so hot I could not sit out there. Would have liked to go downstairs and sit by the fountain and read my book. I live with my son and he had a dinner party and I didn't want to attend. So this was a perfect place to stay for the night. I was very impressed with the hotel and the price was right.

The grounds in all of the common area's were all landscaped with such great taste and quality and made you feel as though you were in a 5-star resort. This was my first stay but plan on staying here on regular basis for my bi-monthly visits to fresno. The hotel which is comprised of all suites has been remodeled and renovated. I stayed in one of the executive suites and the room was very spacious (bigger than most apartments!). The exterior of the hotel has yet to get a face-lift, but do not be quick to judge a book by its cover because the interior is completely brand new. Staff was very friendly!. I enjoyed the interior design of my second floor suite. The room reminded me of when I stay in Hawaii. I opened the windows and the patio door and enjoyed the breeze flowing through the rooms. Outdoors the water fountains and gardens are very soothing. Relaxing after work is very important when I travel. The remodeled suite was nice, but they differ from each other. We had a 1st floor with a little garden patio. 2nd floor was not quite as nice, but still great for the value. The breakfast was great, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels and cream cheese, fruit, coffee, orange juice. The room was a suite and it was really nice having the separate bedroom from lounge room. The employees were friendly, the room, although dated, was clean and comfortable, and it was great having the pool. Loved the free oranges! Would stay there again. The hotel really makes an effort to make this older venue pleasant. The landscaping and gardens throughout really make you feel like you are at a resort. I really appreciate what they try to do with what they have. front desk person was very warm, friendly and helpful. I liked the lights over the pool at night, it created a beautiful effect. The room was clean, spacious and I had the trees outside my windows, which I liked. The room was excellent and so comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast room was relaxing and quiet. As for the surroundings on the way to the breakfast area, it was beautiful. Suite 102 was wonderful. Bathroom, lots of shelves, separate tub and shower, super close-up makeup mirror. Overall catalog quality decor and maximum comfort. Looked and felt like a home. the location. the staff was very courteous. the suites are nice. the breakfast is plentiful. its quiet. pool/hottub clean. very pleasent place to stay. Room in the back of the facility was nice, e.g. sitting room area with TV, good central AC, very clean, updated 60' facility, comfortable king bed. We got a nice suite for the price of an average hotel room. Even though it was on a busy street, we were not bothered by noise. If you are looking for a unique experience, this is it. Once a '60s era apartment house, it is being upgraded, so some of the rooms are still stuck in a movie version of the 60s, but the lobby, grounds, courtyard are beautiful. Good breakfast in the courtyard's glass house. The price of the hotel was excellent. I liked having a little kitchenette and living room as I have 2 small children (10mo and 4 yrs). The bathroom was very spacious!!. Room size and design along with floors not covered in hotel like carpet. The hotel, in general, was nice. The breakfast was good. It was clean. The carpet needs to be cleaned. One of the remotes didn't work. That I did not discover this hotel before now. The air didn't work well in the 2nd story room. Otherwise it was nice. wifi could be better, it was functional but was sometimes slow. The bed in the first room was very uncomfortable, they very quickly moved me to another room however. The hotel is older and in need of some renovations but overall a pleasant stay. there were minimal heavy curtains to block out the sunlight in the bedroom. I noticed the chairs around the pool area were really falling apart. But, the pool area was nice!. Can't think of anything!. TV's were hard to figure out. Could n. i have no complaints about this place. Can use to vaccuum ceiling vent in the bathroom, refinish wood fixture in the bathroom, maintenance on calking in tub, and replace yellow and white stripped awnings in the front of the facility. It was clean, but the smell of bleach when we walked in was almost overwhelming. Installing some automatic air fresheners to overcome the smell of cleaning chemicals would be a wise investment. Nothing about the hotel but streets are a bit dark ( although the neighbourhood is ok). nothing to complain about!. The carpet had several stains in room 207. The beds and pillows were a bit stiff. Room seemed a little out dated and a few old stains throughout the room. Furniture and TV are a little old. Breakfast is just cereal and muffins and coffee/juice. The decor was a little dated and needs to be modernized. Calling a closet with a microwave and a mini fridge a "kitchenette" was a little misleading... I did not like the decor, the interruption of PG&E service during my visit (it was too late to change my reservations and a notice would've been nice), the online pictures of the rooms and the outside sitting area were very deceiving. The patio furniture on the balcony of my room was very dirty also. My room furniture very out dated. TV very very out dated. not able to add xbox, dvd etc. internet slow. I think because we picked it for a low price, we got one of the rooms not yet upgraded. It was still fun. A little weird!. Everything was outdated!! When we first walked in it smelled a bit musty or stale... If they spent a bit of $ on some seriously needed renovations, it would be a fabulous hotel. They even had box tv's that kept freezing.... Wi-fi is so bad I do not think I can stay here on business. Our room was very disappointing. The TVs were very old and did not work. The furniture was very old. I was told at the desk that when you book a standard room, this is what you get. Wi fi was useless TV didn't work until member of staff fixed it Only 1 member of staff available. First room I was given was very dated. Tv was old tube type circa 1986. Was moved to updated room, was pleased with upgrade. Was very very very disappointed with the first room I was giving was very out dated dirty walls/curtains shower head didn't work sheets look like they hadn't been changed, huge hole in the wall Nasty carpet very unbearable. Booked a regular suite - should have paid the upgrade... Very dated, very slooooooooow wifi. Tube TV old small. No electricity out let at desk or by coffee pot. The first night a Big Bug was in the bathtub. The towels were stained very dingy dirty, discolored towels. When you walk into the Hotel it looks very nice. But the suite I was put in was out dated. The pull out bed in the front was very uncomfortable. Outdated decor with tv from the 70's with very limited channels. No hot water for bath. Staff not helpful unless I wanted to pay another $100 for an"executive suite". There was hair in my bathtub, n on my towel. Worst hotel ever! Lift, télévision, internet not working. Person from the lobby at the arrival definitly not friendly 0/10.
