We loved the rooms and comfortable beds. House keeping met our needs. The hotel is gorgeous and the garden and pools areas are beautiful. Took lots of pics. The location is as good as it gets. Food was great as well. We loved the beach and vollyball court. My kids were very pleased as well as my wife with everything offered. The laundry mat was much needed and had no problems with the machines. The waterfall/pool was very nice and the cold water was perfect.
all reviews » I liked the fact that its right at the beach. There is nice restaurants n clubs in walkin distance. I also have to add that the bartender (guy) is awesome... I totally forgot his name. But do remember talkin about my baby twins n him sayin he have a twin brother. U should b very glad to have him workin there. He gives great service n its always there to answer any questions n recommend good places. The location was right on the beach, the garden was really nice and the pool areas were as well and there were actually 2 pool areas. The room was nice and clean. Loved the patio and the garden view. The hotel is within a short walking distance to the boardwalk. This was an added bonus, the walk down the beach to the boardwalk for dinner and after dinner was so nice. Pools. The beach was closed for a day while we were there and we didn't even care because of the pools. I don't like cold water so the heated pool was perfect for me . And the movie at the pool at night. We didn't bring kids and we even enjoyed it. The hotel was within walking distance of several good restaurants and stores. I really liked seeing recycle cans but they need to be labeled, cans, glass, etc. The pools looked great and the staff was friendly. Loved the view but the booking company said there was only 2 ocean front rooms left and there was tons of empty rooms and asked to be put on lower floor and wasnt done by the booking company. Beds were too hard for me, but no fault of the resort. The card in our bathroom said that if we hung up our towels, they would not replace them, but they did. The door on our balcony would lock you out. Breaksfast was terrible. Would have liked more counter space in the bathroom. Grotto pool and bar was closed ... needs more than 1 hot tub available for the amount of possible guests ... did not have wired wi-fi (internet) in rooms as shown on email confirmation. Each queen bed had four pillows, but all were the exact same - hard, would have preferred some options. A little pricey. Bathroom could be updates and towels weren't that nice. Nothing at all. N/a. The room was'nt as nice as i would have liked it to be, but it was fair for the money i guess. The floor and bathroom seemed a little dirty to me. They were clean, but I guess you could tell not kept up. Just a standard hotel room, nothing special. You are paying for the surroundings and pool area only, not the room. It is also a party spot, so, it can get very loud. Housekeeping didn't always get old towels and bring new ones nor filled coffee. If I return I will bring my own beach chairs. The rental company charged inconsistent prices: I paid $30, the guy next to me $20. Additionally this was supposed to be for the entire day (until 5) but @ 3:30 the rental agent took the "reserved" cards off of all umbrellas & if you left your chair @ any time (bathroom, water) he picked up your chairs/umbrella. needs extra blankets in each room. The cost, but I paid extra for the view. Can't think of anything. Counter space in bathroom. need to install towel racks on bottom levels so you can hang out your wet towels..internet had problems. Do not like the fact that there is an umbrella company that takes up the beach front. You can't see the beach due to the umbrellas that line the beach. needs more restaurant within walking distance. guest wrist band and pool water ice cold. some facilities closed -off season?. The rooms were dated and a bit worn. The room was not as nice as we expected. I mean for 300 I thought it would be nicer. Beds didn't have a comforter on it. Also none of the staff out and about spoke English. I dont know Spanish so it was hard to communicate. noise at hotel, and price per night. Parking was not very good. Local dining area did not have a good menu. Noisy air unit. Lack of extra activities and eating choices. The staff was rude. The bed and bedding in my room were very uncomfortable. My back still hurts. The rooms are very out dated and in need of some serious updating. Rooms are old & dengy, restaurant in hotel is to high priced for the frozen food that was served. Checking in the staff was on the rude side & not very personable. over priced for what you get. The Hotel is too expecsive, old and very dirty. It has four stars but in fact it is at least only one!. I didn't like the fact that the staff lied saying the pool was heated when it wasn'T. You couldn't enjoy the hot tub as all these people had their kids and babies in the hot tub!!! I also didn't like finding a roach in my room and when calling the staff that they just laughed saying that Florida had roaches. I will not stay here again. Barely any parking, grotto bar closed way too early, the food at the bbq hut was outrageous, my room had never been cleaned when I first arrived and too many teenagers "hanging out" in the hot tub at night to enjoy it or relax. way to noisy. had to pay to sit in a beach chair.
