This location is easy to get to the Gulf Shore Beaches and the lovely city of Fairhope. Shopping and resturants are close by. We did not use the pool but it was a clean area.Breakfast was included that offered pastries,bagels and breakfast cereal with juice of coffee.The rooms had a small fridge and microwave. The location was great...the staff was very friendly and courteous. the room was clean. The price was very good for the value of what we were looking for. the parking spacious. The pool was clean. The breakfast was adequate..small but adequate. I would stay at this hotel again in the future.
all reviews » The staff was very friendly, honest and helpful. I lost a ring in the room and could not find it, decided it was lost somewhere else. When I got back home there was a message from the owner informing me that the staff had found the ring and he needed to know how I wished to get it back. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was nice, surprised they had sausage biscuits, the kids enjoyed these. There were plenty of muffins, bagels and danish. Coffee, juice, oatmeal and cereal. No fresh fruit, we brought our own fruit based on comments we read from previous traveler. Nice place to stay if you're in the area for a short time. We had a wedding to attend on Weeks Bay and didn't want to stay in Mobile or in Daphne. The price was good and the facilities clean. Location was great. Fairhope is a beautiful place. Everything was good. Loved the affordable pet fees. Friendly staff. Peaceful location. Lovely place to stay, the rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful and recommended a great place to eat. The staff was friendly. The room and location are great! The beds were a bit uncomfortable..firm mattress..but by no means...unfit to sleep in. Also we were located upstairs and only to stairwells. I asked for more towels and I had to bring my used towels to pick up more clean towels.Also I re I had taken ceived a call saying that I had taken a lugage rack. There was no lugage rack in my room, we had several bags and needed one so all of our bags were on the floor. The guy said he needed my cell phone number and some one will call me back. I was waiting to here from someone, no one called to apologize or to say anything concerning this matter. We didn't stay long enough to find fault. I was disappointed that the beds were only full size. My husband and I have a king so it was a bit uncomfortable & took some adjusting. I was honestly expecting queen size. But it was really no big deal. Nothing, very pleased with the property. Excellent value, highly recommended. The breakfast was a little basic. No fruit or yoghurt offered. The little planter outside of the office was full of weeds and cigarette butts. For a little bit of effort(like planting some annuals and bulbs in it) it could have looked very nice and added a little colour to the area. Would like to have had a bigger coffeepot. the red headed fellow at the front desk needs to be more polite like the rest of the staff. Can't think of anything. Some details are a little outdated, like the shower head, chain locks on the door, etc. nothing. The Inn was initially difficult to find. Gps could not locate and the only sign was partially hidden by trees. After locating, it was nice, simple and clean. It could have used some fruit on the breakfast bar. Distance from Gulf Shores Beach. There was an old smell to the room although the room was clean. I got use to it so wasn't bad. the bed was too hard. beds could have been a little softer. The towels were a little thin and not soft. No waffles maker or hot eggs for breakfast. On the day I stayed the lobby was being re-floored so there was no breakfast as promised. This is an older Motel, The dollar value is much lower than what they charged. We had problems with our tv. cable and the beds were not comfortable at all. some lights didn´t shine. Beds was not comfortable. No towels in room...towels thin and scratchy when we got them. Smelled of smoke. Not very clean. Floor lamp did not work. Would not go back. Beds were extremely hard, Pillows were flat. Very uncomfortably sleeping arrangement. Outdoor rooms. Breakfast . Room design unwelcomed guest. This Motel is old and outdated. It is hard to find. We found dead bugs in the bed. It was overall a terrible experience even for the price. The staff was rude . The bathroom potty broke it took them 12 hours to fix . After two complaints . the breakfast was old and stale crowded in there. Pool was dangerous. Kids was jumping on top of each other no parents showed up.
