The reason for my trip was to drop my daughter off at her first year of college at Berkeley. Her move there was good. Your's staff help out with questions, maps and directions needed for her move. Great place to stay. I cant wait to go back. Thank you so much. Laura R. The room was comfortable with new and updated carpet and bedspread. Staff greeted us w bottled water and snack. Nice location. Close to san Francisco, and so much more comfort for the price of a motel on Lombard street. the staff was very, very friendly. They charged up my ipad while I went to breakfast, because I had already left the room. They were very accomodating. Very close to my Mom's house. Just down the street from the Berkeley Marina. Free wifi. I also like the set up in the room. Desk/table. Everyone at the front desk was very professional and friendly. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel is close to Movie Theater, Shopping center and all kinds of restaurants. The gentleman who checked us in was very impressive! Gave us great attention. Staff are very friendly, location is great with a very spacious free parking. Absolutely fantastic hotel. Room was nice and staff was wonderful. comfy, had an armchair and ample space in the room. free wi fi. Room was large and comfortable. No noise from Fwy or bay. I really dont agree with havin gto pay for parking. booked a king bay view room was stuck with a room overlooking the freeway, same price. We dined at the restaurant, one server, felt sorry for him, ran out of wine glasses--even though they were pouring white wine in a red glass. customers walking out--too bright--very sterile. Parking Fee. When I went up to my room the floor smelled like marihuana And the people next door where loud. Evening menu ---poor selection. What I didn't like is that the hotel did not have our reservation that was made through you. Fortunately, they had rooms available are were able to get a room for us at a lower cost. price. No pool. I've stayed at this property several times and have noted the deteriorating condition of the rooms. Along with the lobby, this property is sorely in need of updating to bring it up to HGI standards. The beds were "rock hard" even with a thin memory foam insert. Carpets were stained and the bathroom fixtures were in need of repair. Parking was charged at 15 dollars per day, breakfast was average, roadside rooms were somewhat noisy as the windows were not noise proof. The bed was very uncomfortable, there wasn't a fan in the bathroom, VERY LOUD neighbors from 10 pm - 1:30 a.m, the radio (speaker was blown). Staff was to occupied,I requested a higher floor to view the sf skyline,got a view of trees blocking sf ,it just wasn't what I thought . The housekeeping staff walked into my room early morning without an announcement. Hotel management did not address my concern after I called to complain. We were located across from the elevators and the staff was rude when we asked to change rooms because the noise was constant and went on through the early morning hours. We were told that the hotel was full and if someone cancelled we could move to another room at 3:00 A.M. We barely slept and there was no compensation of any kind for our inconvenience. Room for 4 people? It has 2 bed but for maximun 3 people. We have 3 people, 2 Adult and Teenage. And, the Double Bed is just not big enough. would take forever to list the things..food, bad, room bad, bathroom/shower awful, outlets broke, lamp didnt work..all in all it was a bad experience and the add on costs was a shocker too.. Well... First of all they charge for the parking! Something that you dont see anywhere. Second, the bed is kind of uncomfortable and the pillows too. It seems that they dont change it that often. Internet wasnt working so I had to leave the hotel because I needed the internet for my job. There was people that didnt let us sleep well they kept coming in and out and didnt let us rest when we had this long trip and we just wanted to rest.
