Shuttle picked us up from LAX well within the time limit stated on the phone. Staff extremely friendly when booking in, happy to answer our many queries and did so even though it was quite busy. We were only there overnight but managed a swim at least and were shuttled back to the airport early next morning. We did not stay long enough to experience the area itself. Definitely a great place to stay on the right side of LAX.
all reviews » The room was great. Everything was nice and clean and all looked very well maintained. The gym was well equiped wit toilet, hand disinfectantand fresh towels. The gardens around the hotel are beautiful giving a feeling of home accommodation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is in a great location for LAX and for access to the freeways but the staff are what makes this hotel special for me. Return after 4 months and they welcome you like a lost brother, even remembering your name. Pickup by hotel van was easy and seamless, in fact the driver went out of his way to suggest things to see and do. Receptionist was also very gracious and only willing to assist. The room itself was excellent. very nice hotel, it was clean, people were very friendly, quiet close to the airport (took only 10 minutes by hotel shuttle bus) ... very nice place to stay if you want a hotel near the airport. The place has no down-sides. Clean, comfortable, inclusive of parking, wi-fi etc., and so convenient for the airport. Go again and the staff will remember you, which is nice. Room was very quiet and comfortable. Location very LAX and was also close to plenty of places to eat. Good access to major freeway. Super staff all around!. Superb,the staff were wonderful,very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us.Located so close to LAX was a bonus. Will definitely stay here in future. Convenient location. The Hilton Garden in Hotels are wonderful. Clean, gracious, comfortable, a pleasure to stay. All good, close to LAX. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Almost everything. As expected. No jug to boil water. Nothing. Nothing. It's not near the touristic attractions. I took public transport to go into the city which took me at least an hour and I wasn't quite sure if it was really safe. Therefore I chose to took a taxi back which costs me USD 50 (excl. tip) from Farmer's Market and an about 20 minutes drive. There wasn't anything about this hotel that we didn't like a lot. They tested fire alarm signalization from 10 am till 1 pm. The noise of alarm troubled us every 2-5 minutes. Why not to start the test later?. The Meals Wherent Avaiable 24hrs But They Did Have The Driver Drop Us Off A restaurant Close by For A Late Lunch. Nothing. Nothing to dislike. Couldn't get hold of the hotel to get the shuttle to the hotel so had to grab a taxi. Beds are ok but not great. First room we got, very noisy, on the Metro station side. Then they changed to a quiet handicapped room, but very far of the elevators. Wifi very slow compared with the one i use everyday. If using the courtesy bus do remember you need to phone reception to request pick up. Hotel has a free airport shuttle bus but it wasn't clear if we needed to contact the hotel or if it came every 20-30 minutes similar to other hotels. I emailed the hotel prior to departure to check but I had no reply, so we had a bit of a wait at the airport while we sorted it out. Other than that no problems. The staff were not up-front about extra charges. restaurant opening hours too short. I was not charged the rate quoted in the email. I didn't have time to pull the email up so I over paid. I am due a refund. No continental breakfast. No newspapers left on Saturday morning.
